If the Sooners win out and get the conference title then I think they’re the clear number 4. Even if Oregon does the same, I just don’t think they have the schedule for it. That is unless Georgia wins in Atlanta

Agreed 100%. They would have the same record as Oregon but likely 3 more ranked wins. Only shot for SEC to get 2 teams in now would be for UGA and LSU to win out then for UGA to win the SEC.

Yeah if Georgia wins out and then beats LSU they’ve got to be in but you can’t take LSU out. Would just be a tough break for Oklahoma.

Sounds crazy but besides being the SEC championship game if LSU is already shoed into the Final 4 then they might rest their starters in Atlanta. If I was a Bama fan I wouldn't be cocky about Georgia potentially losing.

That would be crazy. I almost want it for the shitstorm it would cause lol. I do think LSU is a superior team but that doesn’t mean Georgia can’t beat them either. They’ve got the talent and ability to slug it out with the Tigers.

LSU is in a unique spot because as a conspiracy theory maybe they would rather Georgia make it to the Playoff instead of Bama. I damn sure don't want to see Nick Saban again this season. Now with Tua out it might be different but still. Georgia definitely has talent and can definitely win all on their own merit of course. lol LSU sits their starters and after the game looks at the committee and says hey we sat our starters we lost but we didn't lose. Boom Alabama's fucked. I've seen some Bama fans cocky about Georgia losing. I don't think it's that simple.

Meh, he had to do what was best for him. Tua is the better QB and it’s not even close. I don’t blame Hurts for leaving. It worked out better for him.

yeah, losing Tua sucks, but it happens. Jones is not trash, but he’s not elite. I was being a little sarcastic when I made that comment. Jones can beat Auburn, but if Bama makes mistakes like they did in the LSU game, they will lose badly.
