Both sides definitely are becoming more polarized and as a result coming up with very regressive policies that really don't help solve many problems. Not sure if Johnson would be the solution to that but I can say I would hope third parties do somewhat well to show the dissatisfaction with the main ones so they may begin moving back to the center. I actually think rhetoric wise, Clinton has been successful coming off as more center at this point. The DNC convention looked very center actually compared to recent history. I place part of that on Hillarys hawk type foreign policy.

We black people, for years, have been telling anyone that will listen that we have no jobs, our schools are bad, crime is rampant, ect. But now that Trump said it I suppose we are going to act all offended and indignant now? I guess we're going to argue that our schools aren't bad, or that we have plenty of jobs, or that we don't largely live in low income areas...everything is fine?

Trump waited too long to start pushing for African American votes. He let the media paint him as racist for too long before pushing back. We are real tribal ya know. Once a widespread perception solidifies amongst the black community it is almost impossible to break it. Independent thought goes right out the window and everyone just repeats what everyone else says.

Oh well, we still got Hillary. I'm sure we'll be just fine.
