Elections 2016 Democratic/GOP Super Tuesday Primary Thread

Who wins the most delegates in their party on Super Tuesday? (Pick one for each party)

  • Total voters
    23
  • Poll closed .

my VP pick for Bern.

She is awesome, but she's too young and inexperienced, imo.
And unless he's in a position to win, he shouldn't peg Warren, either.
I can't think of anybody myself.

BLAH BLAH BLAH "black people and minorities and working class whites are all idiots who can't think for themselves like urban liberal under 4p whites" oh and "only the rich won't clinton".

You are doing it again.

FYI Bernie thinks people like you are gross. I also wonder what he would think about a self admitted conspiracy theorist right winger libertarian who supports him out of some false identity politics thing.

A man who admits he would vote against leftists interests by refusing to vote Hillary in the general if she wins the Democratic nomination.
shoo fly

Are you sure you are not bias?

You seem to be doing a good job at downplaying Trump's success. Lol at acting like Trump has little appeal its clearly false.
It's "biased". I've clearly been biased against Trump since the start, but the root of my bias has always been that he is a not a serious candidate, and he can't win a general election. Today has only been reinforcing that truth, not contradicting it. His disfavorability is as incontrovertible as the fact that he is a plural frontrunner. Trump couldn't pull better than 50% in a single state. This is among GOP voters, in less rigidly conservative states, with almost entirely white electorates. He can't pull a majority in a single state. Not one.

At some point reality is going to set in, but by then it will be too late for Republicans.

I do not know much about him, so I will have to read up. But from a purely demographic standpoint, he is a great choice. Young, Hispanic, charismatic, and seemingly liberal.

I don't like that. I don't like the idea that a candidate needs to appeal on such a superfacial level. You just proved my point you like him because he is "young, hispanic, and charismatic and 'seemingly liberal'.

Sanders is a real liberal and would be better from a policy standpoint.

  • Julian Castro +255
  • Field -365
  • Tim Kaine +380
  • Field -570
  • Elizabeth Warren +550
  • Field -1050
  • Cory Booker +600
  • Field -1200
  • Martin O’Malley +1100
  • Field -2300

Hopefully none of them besides Warren.

You guys must have read a different post than I did, because I read no mention of race, and thought he was calling southerners dumb, which is apparently ok as long as we are talking about republicans.

Do you not read other threads?

@BVG in a thread the other day more r less called Americans scum or idiots. I can't remember but when Bernie got destroyed in South Carolina there was nothing on social media but hate and negativity from some radical Sanders fans. In fact on this forum in the War Room several posters attacked and Southern voters and claimed black people don't know what is best for themselves.

Someone will try a 3rd party candidacy and it may split it to where it actually helps Trump win just like Nader actually allowed Bush to win in 2000.
No. A third party runner will split the GOP vote, not the Dems. This would result in a landslide win for Hillary.

Nader's base of support were independents who were almost uniformly left of center (to varying degrees). That's why he hurt Gore, and he hurt Gore to the tune of a few percent. It just so happened that those few percent were absolutely CRITICAL in certain states because of how close the overall election was.

Trump is already projected to get blown out by Hillary WITHOUT a fracture of the GOP (resulting in someone like Rubio/Cruz or Romney running on a separate ticket). No, that would result in the most lopsided win in the history of the parties in their current form...for Hillary.

The Democrats are absolutely gleeful at what is unfolding.

Ahhh, back to the random Internet stories.

Was that bernie bros, or obama boys, I get them confused for some reason.

Washington Post is calling Massachusetts for Sanders. CNN is calling it for Clinton.

I'm very interested in seeing the total delegate numbers for Trump, Cruz, and Rubio.

I did not say anything about liking him. I am just saying from a demographic standpoint (which is important to some people) he is a strong choice.

Like I said, I need to read more about him before I can throw my full support behind the choice.

I will say that one demographic that does matter to me for VP this time is young. I do not care about their race or sex or whatever, but I think having someone a bit younger than the president (in this case Hillary or Bernie) is a good idea.

Bernie is dead. Good. Good. Come to The Donald.

Hillary Clinton is a more terrible human being than Donald Trump.

Need i say more?

You think that Bernie supporters will go to Drumpf if Bernie drops out?

Bern does well with small populated states with a white population of 85%+

No wonder he thinks his Scandinavian socialism plan will work in the US

OK, how about Ross Perot effect in 92 and 96? Bill Clinton won 2 terms without ever getting 50% of popular vote. Trump can do the same depending on the 3rd party candidate. Lots of "Bern-outs" won't want to go to Hillary.
