Terrific poster. I think I voted for him for best new poster last year.

Jack, I have to say that you have become condescending as of late. Maybe it has been there all along and I have just started to notice it, but it is almost reminiscent of workersunited, whom nobody likes.

I'm only condescending to people like glennrod, Anung, anabolistair, Hans, ben, etc. I'm very respectful to the good posters here and Jukai.

I think the LOL thread of the year was the "is it ok to criticize black people" thread - just so many jimmies rustled - and people who took it way too seriously on both ends.

I'll give my vote of poster of the year to Like a Bas - he thinks out his opinion but is not preachy about it.

Rod1 gets under my skin the most but he at least articulates his thoughts well.

Rod1 is the king of e stamina. He's not a bad poster but he never makes me rethink a position.

I don't know how JVS or dochtor can post with broken arms from their back patting sessions. jack likes to pretend like he the smartest guy here....until playing dumb serves him better. dochtor thinks he can hurl an insult and that somehow lends him creditability, he might be the most dishonest poster on this board.

Its hard not to like jack though

I dunno, I could just never quite get off the fence about whether Workers United was a troll poster or not. Seemed too much of a sterotype, or caricature or whatever. Like a mashup of Che Guevara, Woody Guthrie and Ice Cube.

On another topic, has anyone ever remarked that Jack Savage's writing style is very similar to Paul Krugman's? I know they share a lot of opinons, but JVS got almost the same snideness about him. He's like I'd image Paul Krugman would be if he frequented message boards.

Jack is great at trolling, and sometimes he provides some excellent insight, but posters like Dochter and Jukai are just outright hateful towards anybody whose opinions differ from theirs. I've had disagreement with many posters, but those two along with Provoflekian have by far outright personally insulted me the most. I'd say all 3 of the aforementioned posters could benefit from anger management therapy.
