Crime 2 Escaped American XL Bulldogs kill 22 pregnant ewes and maul 46 before being shot dead in Wales

This might sound messed up but...

Is anyone else a little bit impressed that 2 dogs did THAT much damage?

I mean, if you told me 2 dogs took out 5 ewes, I'd say, ok, that makes sense. they were probably REALLY hungry. But these numbers? Wow.. just wow.

Update 13:

_132516121_xl_bully_2x640-nc.png.webp

New restrictions on XL bully dogs are being introduced in Scotland from the 23rd of February.

It will be legal to own one of the dogs but they must be muzzled and on a lead in public from that date. Selling or exchanging them will be banned.

And from the 31st of July it will be an offence to own an XL bully without an exemption certificate.
The regulations mirror those in England and Wales but certificates will be required there from Thursday.

Penalties for breaching the new safeguards are up to six months imprisonment and/or a fine up to £5,000.

The Scottish government followed suit after an increasing number of the animals were being rehomed in the country from across the border, creating what First Minister Humza Yousaf

Humza-Yousaf-Scotland-national-party-SNP.jpg

described as a 'flow' of the dogs. Earlier this month Mr Yousaf said the decision was made to 'ensure public safety'.

Update 14:

A grandmother has died after being attacked by two dogs described as XL Bullies while visiting her 11-year-old grandson in Essex.

Police were called to an address in Jaywick, Essex, after 4pm on Saturday where officers found the victim, named by her family as Esther Martin, seriously injured.

POLICE%20Jaywick%20%2010370817.jpg

The 68-year-old, from Woodford Green, London, was pronounced dead at the scene.

[The attack]... comes just days after it became a criminal offence to own an XL Bully, with all existing dogs required to wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead.

The National Police Chiefs’ Council said they had been informed that around 40,000 dog owners had registered their pets since the ban was announced by Rishi Sunak in September.

But the Met also warned as many as 10,000 of the animals could be without a certificate of exemption, which is now required under law.

Both dogs... were killed by police.

A 39-year-old man arrested on suspicion of dangerous dog offences following the death of a 68-year-old grandmother has been released on conditional bail until March 5, Essex Police said.

Another day, another mauling death caused by these despicable animals. FUCKING CULL them, the ban isn't working.

Update 15

Tuesday the 23rd of January

ARMED police shot a dog dead after it hospitalised two men in an attack in a Scottish town.

Officers were called to the Tinto View area of Hamilton on Tuesday evening after reports of a 'large bulldog-type dog' attacking a man.

The man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment for 'life-threatening injuries', police said.

Armed officers were deployed to the scene 'due to the dog being dangerously out of control'.

Police said the dog attempted to attack an officer and was 'shot dead by armed police'.

A second man was also attacked by the same dog shortly before that incident, which was reported at around 5pm.

The first attack happened on Loudonhill Avenue and the victim was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment for minor injuries.

Sunday the 18th of February

An XL Bully has been shot dead by police after it attacked and injured three people in Scotland, ITV News can confirm.

Armed officers were called to Mannering, East Kilbride at around 10.25am on Sunday to reports of a dog attacking a 14-year-old Border Collie.

The elderly dog had a lucky escape thanks to a teenage boy, who prised open the XL Bully's jaws and rescued the Collie.

Police Scotland attempted to restrain the 'dangerously out of control' dog. Officers fired multiple shots and the dog was killed.

Three people were injured during the incident.

While Police Scotland is yet to officially establish the breed of the dog, ITV News can confirm it was an XL Bully named Kilo.

The dog had recently been brought to Scotland from England to evade the ban on XL Bullies there, ITV News understands.

Update 16:

The carnage continues...

Monday 18th of March

This is the shocking moment Londoners ran to escape a 'dangerously out of control' XL bully on a rampage before it was shot dead by police.

Four men were rushed to hospital and two people were arrested following the incident in south west London.

Chaotic CCTV video has emerged from around the time of the attack, showing a group of people running in terror, closely followed by the grey beast.

Other people can be seen bravely trying to capture the dog, but it continues to run riot and chase after people.

Armed police were called to the incident, on the 18th of March, in Battersea at around 10pm.

A second video shows police and ambulance crews descending on the scene, before armed officers later shot the dog due to the threat it posed to the public.

Four men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following the horrific attack.

A 22-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman have also been arrested on suspicion of being the owner or person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control.

It came just weeks after another unmuzzled XL bully launched an 'unprovoked' attack on a mother and her two children in Battersea park last month.

The dog attacked the women and her children, aged one and two, as they entered the playground at Latchmere Recreation Ground, south London on the 2nd of February.

The woman - who wished to remain anonymous - claims the unleashed XL bully 'launched itself on the pram' carrying her one-year-old daughter, tipping it over and biting the child.

Note: You can read about this attack here. While it is shocking in that it involves an XL Bully launching an unprovoked attack on a two year old, and a one year old in a pram, their bites were treatable at home. So I didn't rate it as serious enough to have its own full entry.

Thursday 21st March

A three-year-old boy needed surgery to his face after he was 'mauled' by an XL bully in Doncaster, police have said.

The family pet, registered due to its breed, bit the boy after he was allowed to climb on the dog on Monday.

Due to the nature of his injuries police were called.

Chief Inspector Emma Cheney,

from South Yorkshire Police, said: 'A dog's instinct to protect itself is to bite. Parents should ensure children learn to respect a dog's space.'

Yorkshire Ambulance Service took the boy to the hospital where he required surgery, a force spokesperson said.

That last bit is infuriating. Fuck that bitch. Why are people putting dogs ahead of children and saying it's the kids' fault?

Xl bullies are the big ones that are pitbulls mixed with larger bulldogs and mastiffs correct? The little short fat ones that are mixed with English bulldogs are always friendly when I see then

Update 17

In 2023 XL Bullies made up less than 1% of Britain’s dog population and yet, according to Bully Watch UK, the dogs were responsible for 44% of dog attacks on people. They estimate the breed is 270 times more deadly than all other dog breeds combined.

Saturday 15th July 2023

A powerful XL Bully dog which left a man fearing for his life when it savagely attacked him outside a Nottingham pub is still on the loose 10 months on. Nottingham Crown Court heard how the police have been unable to find Gooch since he left the victim so badly injured with bite marks that he was in hospital for a week.

Shocking CCTV footage played in court showed the animal pouncing on the man as he tried to give a small boy a high five and was too strong for the man, who was knocked to the ground and then bitten. Later, he was to tell police that he thought he might die, believing the dog was going for his throat.

But despite extensive inquiries, Nottinghamshire Police have been unable to find Gooch, who, at the time of the incident, was under the control of 55-year-old Phillip Williams, who was holding the lead for his daughter.

Handing Williams a 12-month community order, Recorder John Hardy KC

John-Hardy-QC.png

said: “I am of the view that the police, as a matter of public safety, make urgent inquiries to endeavour to find the dog because I am going to impose a destruction order on it. It’s appalling to think this animal could potentially be on the loose in playgrounds or near schools. This breed is notorious, it’s like taking care of a bomb."

As part of the community order, the judge ordered Williams to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work and to pay the victims £1,400 compensation.

Friday 23rd September 2023

An XL Bully owner left a man 'writhing and screaming' on the floor, without calling him an ambulance after his dog leapt over a fence and mutilated both his arms. Christopher Moore, who has previous convictions for dangerous dogs and animal cruelty, was jailed for three years and three months and banned from owning a dog for 10 years at Inner London Crown Court on Wednesday [22/5/24].

The 39-year-old, of the Browning Estate in Walworth, was convicted of being an owner in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury after a trial at the same court earlier this year.

The victim, Birch Kalawa, was walking to Morrisons to get some baby milk, speaking to his sister with his headphones on, when he noticed an XL Bully jumping up at a three-foot fence from inside a dog cage around 100 yards away. Mr Kalawa thought little of it, but suddenly the dog - which he described as 'the size of a man' - flew over the fence and ran towards him.

With both the dog's paws on his chest, Mr Kalawa slipped on the wet ground and fell to his knees, at which point the dog locked its jaws onto his left forearm, causing him to shout and scream. After violently shaking one arm, ripping muscle and skin with its teeth, the dog clamped onto Mr Kalawa's right arm and did the same.

Eventually, Moore was able to chain the dog and pull it away before leaving Mr Kalawa for dead. "He asked 'can you call me an ambulance', but you said 'sorry mate, I can't' then left," snarled Judge David Richards,

Sir-David-Richards-Image-from-UK-Supreme-Court-press.jpg

"In my view demonstrating a callous disregard for the victim of your dog. You left leaving him in agony on the floor."

Such was the pain, Mr Kalawa was treated with gas and morphine when paramedics arrived, and he was taken to hospital with 'extensive' cuts to both arms and his back. One of the bites left the muscle connecting his bone to his arm visibly exposed. In his victim impact statement, Mr Kalawa said he was still in 'constant pain' and could no longer lift his daughter up to play.

A mum screamed 'an XL Bully has got my boy' as the unmuzzled dog bit a chunk off the child's head, a court has heard. The youngster was visiting a friend when the tragic attack took place.

The dog, owned by mother and son Amanda and Lewis Young, was allowed to roam free without a harness or muzzle in the communal area of a block of flats.

The eight-year-old screamed "Help me, help!" as the animal, named Snoop, sank its teeth into his head, ripping off his scalp in an attack which let his mother scared he was going to die.

Liverpool Echo reports the city's Crown Court heard this afternoon that the boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was subjected to a 'vicious and sustained attack' at the apartment complex in Bootle, Merseyside, on February 10 this year.

Snoop [who has been put down] was said to have 'had substantial characteristics of an XL bully type' and was 'therefore a banned breed'.

The victim was taken to Alder Hey Children's Hospital, having sustained 'extensive injuries' to his face and hands. This included a 'degloving' of the scalp and a fracture to the skull, where it had been penetrated by one of the dog's teeth.

He has since undergone several surgeries, including an initial 10 hours on the operating table as doctors unsuccessfully attempted to reattach his scalp.

He also spent more than two months in hospital as an inpatient while undergoing skin grafts before being discharged in late April. The boy still attends appointments twice a week in order to reapply his bandages, and will be left with permanent scarring.

A woman has told how she was mauled by her XL Bully in a horror 35 minute attack as it 'played tug of war' with her breast implants.

Charlie Watts was savaged by hellhound Juju after she tried to drag him off her other XL Bully crossbreed Titan.

After fleeing through a window with 200 wounds, Charlie spent four days in hospital and says she is lucky to be alive.

The 28-year-old, who still has no use of her arm, said: "I could literally feel my [dental] veneers clashing against his teeth. And the only thing stopping him from getting my face was my arm in his mouth."

She said: “I've now got tissue, nerve and muscle damage in my arm and I still have no use of it. The doctors didn't think they'd be able to save my breast implant, but luckily they have kept it in. I was going to get them redone last year but I'm so glad I didn't now."

The dogs were locked inside the blood-drenched Housing Association flat for 12 hours before cops removed Juju and had him destroyed.

Despite her harrowing ordeal Charlie remains a supporter of XL Bullies, insisting any breed could attack.

Armed police with riot shields were scrambled to an east London house where a mother was mauled to death by her two XL Bully dogs.

Officers seized the dogs after the victim, named locally as Angeline Mahal,

was savaged inside the house in Hornchurch.

The alarm was raised at just before 1pm on Monday and Ms Mahal, who was aged in her 50s, was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Neighbours said the dogs were taken away from the property in Cornwall Close and not shot despite the fatal attack.

A neighbour described how two of the woman’s sons returned home to find their mother fatally injured.

London’s air ambulance and paramedics were dispatched to the scene and a police cordon set up on the street. Medics battled to save the woman but her injuries proved fatal.

Monday 27th May 2024

A five-year-old boy savaged by an XL Bully had 'half his scalp ripped off' during the horrific attack.

The terrifying incident happened in a rundown house which locals claim is a well known drugs den in Hull, East Yorkshire, on Bank Holiday Monday.

CCTV from a neighbouring home shows the mother and her child entering the property with another man, claimed to be a local drug dealer. Seconds later blood curdling screams can be heard off camera coming from the house.

The sobbing mother emerges onto the street with her child in her arms as she pleads for an ambulance, before a stranger offers to ferry the boy to hospital.

The youngster is now receiving treatment after the savage attack which left him with 'half his scalp ripped off'. Family friends say the boy is lucky to be alive thanks to three men who wrestled the dog off him.

Footage from later in the afternoon show officers arriving to collect the dog before remaining on the scene for nearly four hours.

85476465-13471871-image-a-52_1716998006494.jpg

The owner can be seen on the footage pleading with the officers: 'You are hurting him. Let me put the muzzle on him.'

She tells them: 'It is a good dog. I am telling you. I can save him.'

A woman who witnessed the attack said: "I was in my house. The children were playing. My eldest went upstairs for something and said something is kicking off outside. I went upstairs to look out the window. I will never, ever get that image out of my head. I wish I knew who the mother is so I could ask how the bairn is doing."

Her husband was in the shower when his wife raised the alarm. He said: "They were just visiting next door. I think it happened as soon as they walked into the living room. Then we heard the screaming. The kid was completely scalped. We could see how terrible the injury was. Then the car pulled up. It was lucky he was passing by. The wife came to me in the shower. She was shaking badly."

Tuesday 28th May 2024

A 15-year-old boy is in hospital after being savaged by an XL Bully in south Wales - just a day after a child was also mauled.

Armed police swooped on a property in Pontlottyn, Caerphilly county, on Tuesday afternoon following a reports of a dog attack.

The lad was rushed to hospital for treatment but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, Gwent Police said.

The XL Bully - which police say was registered under the new government scheme - was seized and put down by a vet.

Someone once told me that “pitbull” is roughly translated to “death dealer” in ancient Egyptian language

How the fuck is it still possible that people with absolute zero knowledge about dogs can still just go out and get a dog ?
In 100% of cases of dogs doing anything wrong is always because the owner is a failure without any knowledge about dogs
I garantee 99% of dog owners never read any book about dogs, let alone do any research on the breed they are getting.
Until you can do what people like Cesar Milan do, you are not a capable dogowner and should not be allowed to own a dog by law.
There should be some exam for dogowners.
Period.

Update 18

A 23-year-old woman who was mauled to death by a dog in southwest Ireland appears to have been the owner of an XL Bully.

The woman, who was named locally as Nicole Morey, was killed on Tuesday evening at a house in Ballyneety, County Limerick, at around 11:40pm.

Her body has been taken to University Hospital Limerick for a post-mortem. Irish broadcaster RTE said the dog involved in the attack was understood to be an XL Bully.

According to her social media, Ms Morey was the loving owner of what appears to be an XL bully.

In one video on TikTok, she is seen dancing with a dog in a kitchen.

The video is covered by a male voice saying: "This is my son and I don't give a f*** if you think he looks aggressive and I don't give a f***if you don't like the look of him and I surely don't give a f*** whether you think the breed should be banned."

Another chilling video appearing to show her as the owner of several dogs is captioned: 'But if one of us dies - I hope I die first.' The video ends with a caption reading: 'Love my family.'

In another post, she describes herself as a 'dogmom' and is seen handing treats to two dogs.

Ms Morey was treated by paramedics but died at the scene on Tuesday, Gardai said. One dog was put down while three others were seized.

Storm and Cee

An Edinburgh woman has revealed she had her hand chewed off in a horror XL Bully attack. The 26-year-old woman had rescued the two dogs but was savagely attacked by the pair on the 16th of May this year.

The seriously-injured dog owner was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for urgent treatment and the two pets - named Storm and Cee - were euthanised following the sickening incident at a flat at Academy Street in Leith.

The woman's message reads:

Just want to clear a few things up and put my story across, the truth. not what papers are printing or Facebook statements from 'family'. Yes, I did get attacked from my two dogs, Storm and Cee, I rescued back at the start of 2024. Yes it was vicious. I've had to have plastic surgery to reattach my hand, skin grafts, intensive care and I'm still in the hospital trying to recover the best way to get home to my family. Clearing up the bull**** lies as usual cause people just need the attention. My two bullies where the most beautiful, loving and loyal dogs and what happened was out the blue and I couldn't be more devastated about loosing them like this. But I'm lucky to be alive. If [name redacted] wasn't there I wouldn't be here today, I can't wait to get home to him and the kids. Everyone can have their own opinions but I no I've no lost an arm and a leg, my hand was detached completely yes but thankfully after hours they've managed to reattach my hand but I've still got a long road. My dogs where never abused or starved, Storm was 126lbs, Cee was 106lbs. All dogs fed twice a day. Imagine having over 220lbs ripping you apart, thinking I'm going to die.
