It's funny. Humans have a very violent history. Burning people at the stake, making them fight lions, the killing/torture/rape involved in war and there are still people in this day and age who act so shocked and confused when they hear about a murder on the news.

In order to get the hooks in the guy has to have extremely long legs like Stefan Struve. And make sure the Gorilla doesn't slam him backwards and crush him with all that weight.

Right. The mechanics of it will be a little challenging for a human with shorter limbs, but if you get a tall fellow with solid back control, it's gonna be a bad day for the gorilla.
