A gorilla has a really thick neck so and RNC might not be effective. If you can't get under his chin he might be able to take a chunk out of your forearm.

Source on that? If that were true, a gorilla would able to press a small car over his head and throw it like a medicine ball. If I had to guess, I would think 10x stronger than the average man would be closer, which is about 3-4x as strong as a hw strongmen.

A zoologist on CNN stated that a 450 lb gorilla is 3x as big as a man and 6x stronger than that. So, 18x a normal sized man.

The strong men all act like Machida running up to the gorilla and back to tire him out. When hes visibly gassed, one guy jumps on his back which causes the gorilla to go apezhit and gas out more. Eventually they all grab his legs push him up against the fence and toss him out of the cage.

A gorilla is 300 pounds, but all the strongmen who lift much more on a regular basis acting in a concerted effort could lift him up and push him out of the cage.

Give them bats or sticks and the gorilla has almost no chance.

Think, Silverback gorillas have evolved to take out other fully grown male gorillas. Those massive teeth are for fighting each other, and their skulls have evolved to absorb gorilla ground and pound. It's unlikely the strongmen would be actually able to hurt the beast, unless they were able to somehow gouge out its eyes without being mauled.

If all it took was 12 (albeit particularly large) unarmed Homo sapiens to take out a silverback (a creature who protects an entire family of gorillas with his physical badassery) then gorillas would have become long extinct.
Hell humans would likely never have bothered to develop tech if all it took were 12 big guys to kick creatures assess unarmed like that.

The 12 strongmen win. We act as if humans aren't capable of going into battle as their comrades are torn to shreds. 12 strongmen swarming a silverback would take the victory. This is similar to "how many 5 year olds can a grown man take on". Initially you think "a lot" until you contemplate the logistics of fighting dozens of bloodthirsty children. You'd be exhausted after the first wave. Place 12 strongmen in a pit vs a silverback and the silverback won't be the last thing standing.

I remember years ago I was working with a guy that told me a story about his uncle that was a Strong man/tough guy in Nicaragua. They were at a zoo and the guy was fucking with a gorilla showing off how strong he was, apparently there was little blocking access to the gorilla cage. According to this guy; The guy walked over, reached in and slapped the gorilla. The gorilla grabbed his arm and snapped it then went back to what it was doing without even missing a beat. The guy said he was devastated because he thought his uncle was the strongest and toughest person on the planet, but here he was laying on the ground crying holding his arm that was broken by something that didn't even give put any effort into breaking his arm. Don't know how true the story was, but from the way this guy told it he was pretty convincing.

My money would be on the gorilla.

I think the strongmen would prevail in the gym, but not without taking a few serious injuries/casualties. Gorilla would put up a good fight, but ultimately those guys would eventually be able to control him, and take him out.

All bets are off in the jungle though.
