Anderson Silva has to be the GOAT. No constant eye pokes, in a tough division, knocking people out, doing it in a way nobody has ever seen before or since.
As much as I like Weidman, what Silva did in the Octogon was almost magical.
Who can compare to him today? Will we ever see such dominance in a high weight division again?
Lol only failed after he snapped his leg and had one of his worst performancesHe's a cheater. Period
He discredited himself
Like it may not even be a exaggeration. Ryan Chonan's flying heel hook on a prime Anderson Silva may be the greatest submission in MMA history.for sure,Chonan´s move was GOAT.
Is that why Maia, one of Silva's easiest defenses, is running through the modern WW division? Should we mention Marquardt being the only man to knock out Woodley?TUF NOOB lmao
Basically how I got into MMA too.I started following MMA due to Brock Lesnar, Silva was the one who kept me watching.

He's the most drug tested fighter in the UFC
His submission game was still developing in pride. He would have the same success in pride or anywhere else in the world! Losing a couple of fights in pride doesn't take away from his greatness. He lost and learned from those losses to come back and wow all of us in the UFC. Just watch his fights in the UFC and you will realize that no other fighter come even close. Anderson is the best ever, no question about itok. I feel UFC was a better org for him, I dont believe he would have had the same potential "GOAT" carreer in Pride, u couldnt "protect" ur carreer there.

No one is going to go on a win streak while showboating like the spider ever.
