Buakaw could have just not turned up for the fight, how would that have been for the fans?
He still turned up for the fans.

He didn't know it was going to be a draw and didn't care about win or loss. He did the 3 rounds and went as a sign of protest against K-1.

Kehl was not left "standing", he was left with the title. He must have beenn happy with that.

k1 had gotten an online betting sponsor and put the line out on Facebook. Online gambling is highly illegal in thailand and buakaw had powerful military and sports authority figures tell him he had to denounce the event (supposedly it was his boxing license at stake). while shady shit was going on k1 brought it all on themselves. k1 was the one threating to sue till they realized they were the ones that fucked up and would be liable for damages if they brought a case against buakaw

yep but by that point the betting had been shut down for about a week as the thai authorites were not going to let the event proceed unless they stopped the betting

There were two other Thais fighting on this event who didn't have to denounce it or their license would be revoked What are the facts is that first this event was going to be organised by Buakaw's patron Yim and there was going to be a whole undercard filled with guys from Buakaw's gym. Then suddenly it was changed to Pat from Solana and said Solana (one of Buakaw's sponsors by the way) and in the days leading to the event Buakaw and his camp suddenly started having problems when previously they were going as far as doing some stupid shit for K-1 like flying to China for some fan events and other stuff (the said undercard was also scrapped mind you). Explanation from Buakaw and his people? They were wronged in some way, can't say any specifics cause bla bla bla, if you know him well you should probably know what's this whole thing about etc. etc. Sorry for doubting. Don't even care for Kim or his K-1 but Buakaw is getting a free pass on everything just because he's Buakaw

he quit, there is nothing more than that to it. if he was so scared about the gambling thingy, he should have refused the fight because it's illegal to gamble in thailand (kuch kuch kuch). he was just being a drama queen and left Kehl and all the fans without finishing the fight.

and the bs excuse that he 'didnt know the result and left before they announced it'.......pffff how disrespectful is that? win, lose or draw, take it like a man and wait for it. especially since k1 often has extension rounds.
