The Insane Efforts By Police At Standing Rock North Dakota

Shit's going down now
What happened? I'm not seeing anything being reported?
They've only got 4 days left to get their shit out, the Corp gave them a notice to vacate yesterday or the day before.

Trespass notice from the BIA

Ha, your doing a better job then the media covering this. I'll give you that.
The media has really went silent on the ordeal, but it's going to pick up again in a couple of days. They're going to close the camp down on Wednesday, forcibly removing people if necessary. It'll be interesting to see how the protesters put a spin on it when it happens, they were told on the 3rd that they will be removed so they had ample warning to get their shit and get out. But the protesters have been calling for people to come to make "one last stand".
The tribe, BIA, Corp of engineers, national guard, and the sheriff's department are all coordinating on getting the protesters out. I wouldn't be surprised to see the FBI gets involved, the Terrorism Task Force is already investigating previous actions and has led to federal indictments put out.
The area might not even make it to that date before it floods. It's been in the 40's all week, it's only dropped below freezing at night a couple nights, and will continue in the 40's until wednesday. All the snow is melting and we've had record snow fall this winter.
Once the camp is closed, the bridge will be opened back up. The repairs have been done and should be 100% usable as long as it doesn't get lit on fire for a 3rd time.

Here's a great article by the local Native newspaper on the money that went through the camps

Can the BIA arrest non indians now? (I think that changed anyway)

From what I understand the BIA can detain someone until the feds or county police show up. It goes the other direction as well.
The DAPL worker that got ran off the road last fall got detained by the BIA and handed over to the Sheriff's department.

I hope they are peacefully arrested, and that someone stands up beforehand there and gives a history lesson to the protestors that being arrested for civil disobedience is the goal.

Go to jail for trespassing, and wear it like a badge of honor.

If they had real balls, after that, they would go out and get arrested for trespassing again.

Protesters tried to set up a tepee on the highway and the authorities shut it down. Around 50:00 is when the cops start marching forward.

They were told if they block the road again, they will get arrested.

An ambulance had to go around because they were blocking the road

The other issue this raises is that why aren't they back cleaning up the camp like they said they were going to? In this videos, one of the "leaders" is crying for people to call the Corp to get an extension to stay on the land because they won't have time to clean up the camp.

They have until noon on Wednesday to leave and at 2 pm the authorities are coming in and removing people. If they leave the camp on Tuesday, they won't be allowed back in.
The Corp is the one enforcing the trespass order, I don't know who is going to be doing the physical removal and I don't think it's been said yet.

This is what the area looked like before the protesters came in, it's not going to look like this after they leave

@Big_Chief_Stove Did you seen Dennis Banks was at the camp?

Here's a huge timeline going back to 2011 on the pipeline with sources

The state is offering the remaining protesters a one way bus ticket out of state.
"According to Fong, the state of North Dakota is offering some free services to protesters who leave the #NoDAPL camps. She says the hope is that those who do not have the resources to leave the camp before tomorrow's emergency evacuation deadline, but do not have the resources to do so will use this offer.

The plan is still waiting on final confirmation, but some of these offers may include a motel room, bus ride from the camp to Bismarck/Mandan area, food voucher, gas cards, and a one-way ticket for a bus ride back to their original home. This is predominantly for the protesters that do not have the means to leave the camp on their own."

Hope the veterans can help and more people go to Standing Rock to protest. Tragedy what the U.S. Gov' has done to the Native peoples and protesters there. Awesome seeing the support from around the world that they've had though. It's great that the Natives are finally getting the strength to stand up for their sovereign rights. Their actions at Standing Rock set a precedent for Native people worldwide who fight against oppression every day from immigrant terrorists.

The Tribe has asked everyone to go home, that was back in December. The Tribe also set a date, today, to close the camps down. The Tribe doesn't even want them there, they're telling people not to come.

If more people show up, they're not respecting the Standing Rock Tribes wishes.
It's not the local natives there anymore, it's out of state people.

Why are they doing that? Does the tribe now accept that the DAPL is good and that it should not be obstructed?

they got paid and they don't want whitey f'n with their $$.

Whitey will keep showing up because they don't actually care about the natives. They just want to brag about it in their circle of like minded individuals.

They're tired of the protesters also. They're still fighting it in court so they haven't given up.
I think financial reasons are another issue. Their main source of revenue, the casino, is way down. It's also their number one source of employment for people on the reservation. They put out a release not long ago saying the revenue is down by 50%. They've already taken money raised for the protest to pay for other things on the reservation.
There was millions of dollars that poured into the area but very, very little of it went to the people of Standing Rock.
Once all the protesters leave, the tribe still has to try to repair relations with the State. A lot of North Dakotans won't support the casino anymore.

Protesters have been burning their own stuff this morning
