Yeah, it should be a good fight. And if Eye loses, she should be gone. No excuse for keeping her around, regardless of how popular she is during weigh-ins. Really, I am surprised she is still here. For someone who is supposedly a striker, she got beat on the feet by Tate of all people.
Tate is Greater Than Great!

#FearTheReturn(ate) if the Zingano rematch talks bear fruit.

Why featherweight she's not very big at 135 and can't threaten Cyborg,Holm,or De Randamie anywhere.

It's kind of perfect. Every 145'er should have to fight a 125lbs. asian clinch fighter before they are Cyborg ready.

This is a pro debut vs pro debut and its a good one. Cisneros was 6-1 as an amateur and Miranda Dearing was 7-2 as an amateur competing in Michigan and Florida. Both have fairly high ceilings in the very shallow Featherweight division although i see Dearing fighting at Bantamweight mostly as a pro. Dearing recently moved to Florida to train at American Top Team.

Eye is ducking Lauren so hard. What a goddamn joke.

Unless we have a liar... Both were offered the fight vs the other at 210...Murphy signed, Eye did not... Then Jessica has gone on to act all sad about not getting an opponent. Probably just hanging on to still being in the UFC & somehow the top 15...

Jessica Eye would like to fight Dern at 125 . Hilarious given the fact that she said she wouldn't go down a weight class as it would be a struggle but when when you're on a 4 fight losing streak and possibly verge of being cut, desperate times.

Hmm. Wouldn't exactly be a high-level "accomplishment" if Eye were to win. On the other hand, it would likely be the nail in the coffin if she were to lose. Perhaps she's just setting something up for when Murphy whoops her ass and sends her out of the UFC. Poor Jessica gets no love on here.

For all the hate Eye gets for her losing streak she isn't really that bad, she only really got dominated by Tate and McMann, was fairly competitive against Pena and it wouldn't have robbery for her to get the nods over Davis and Bethe. She's also been in a Giblert Melendez-like position where due to the name she built up before her losing streak, almost all her opponents (except Bethe) have been pretty top notch and maybe she just needs to be fighting a level below that (and/or not against grappling specialists lol).

Her problem is she is a striker with absolutely no power. So the girls don't respect her hands. She was lighting Tate up in the 1st round but Tate never seemed bothered because Eye has no power. Tate might have terrible striking but she developed power near the end of her career. That one hit Tate gave Eye changed that whole fight. Eye was never the same again.

Another problem with Eye is she is she has very good submission defense, but she has terrible takedown defense and terrible ability to get back to her feet after being taken down. This means that Eye will be extremely tentative with her striking to try and avoid getting taken down. Once the fight gets to the ground it will be a boring grind because she won't get subbed but has no idea how to get up or sub her oponent.

Oh, man. I'll never forget that "fight" with McMann. They BOTH should've been awarded a loss for that one.

I can only assume that is what was going on during the McMann fight. IIRC, she went an entire round without throwing a strike.

Sounds like she has either stagnated or is just always a step behind her competitors. She'd better light a fire as I imagine a fifth loss wwould be her swan song. Not at all surprised she's ducking Murphy. Maybe Macedo?

Tasting the power of Miesha is indeed a life altering event

Ji Yeon Kim as an FW? Isn't she already small at BW? They're trying real hard to find women for such a shallow division, to a point where they're signing women from smaller weight classes to move up. I'd much rather they contest it at 135 and Holly drops down.

Any thoughts on Moroz vs. Esparza? I think Moroz turned down Aguilar and Casey because she wanted to get closer to a TS, hence she took Esparza. I may not like Moroz much but that's a smart move on her half.

Herrig vs. Kish on the same card sets up an ideal opponent for whoever wins Moroz / Esparza too.

Moroz taking the Esparza fight is a bit of an insult to Carla, as I get the impression Maryna only takes fights she's confident of winning.

Yea.
Carla is a pretty bad matchup for Moroz though. Of the UFC top 10 I'd say Karolina, Rose, Waterson would play more to her strengths/less to her weaknesses. Or a fight vs Herrig or PVZ just below her. Carla might even be the worst matchup in the top 10 for her IMO.

It seems Carla is widely underestimated in all aspects (including 'entertainment factor'). Still even Moroz is called 'the most boring fighter' now, based on 1 fight. Goes ta show what the people know (i.e. nothing).

Oh well, that's her / her coach/her management's mistake. I'm cool with that though as the betting odds will probably decent for Carla. Free money.

That's the worst bit. The amount ass kissing is cringeworthy, i'm glad I don't have twitter.

They've been going at it for weeks now, i'm surprised the fight hasn't been made yet.

Lauraens been calling Jessica out as a victim of USADA for a while now

So Cyborgs dropped her invicta belt and Megan is undisputed champion..

trouble is, with Cyborg having left invicta, and Zuffa/Shanon doing the deal to protect Megan from Cindy

Who hell flying fig is she going to defend the belt against?

just because people dont agree with you doesnt mean they know nothing.

Moroz was always massively overrated, especially by sherdoggers, shes very very average, and certainly isnt top ten

(that said, she could well beat Esparza)

I don't think they're sure if she's even going to defend the belt considering she wants UFC. I think Anderson going to UFC should be the final nail in the coffin for Invicta's FW Div., they should abandon it and focus on the other classes or open up 155 or something.
