Fedor training 4 Meat ?

I hope he comes in with a proper game-plan. No amount of training will help if he's swinging for the fences like a madman.

Unfortunately swining for the fences may be the best thing he can do against a bigger, slower guy. Fedor cant fight off his back foot or Mitrione will fuck him up. Fedor will have to pressure Mitrione and hit him with speed and power early IMO.

Grappling is Mitrione's weakness. I mean, even Travis freakin' Browne was able to take advantage of it.

Fedor's grappling is very, very poor these days. He struggled grappling against Brett Rogers in 2009. Giving up top position, going for a sloppy Kimura and getting roughed up while on his back. I dont think Mitrione's grappling is very good but at least he has been training at the highest level for the last 8 years while Fedor's skills have been deteriorating and rotting away. Matt has been training with Blackzillians which probably means that he is rolling with high level guys daily, higher level guys than Fedor is rolling with for sure. Considering his size advantage I dont think Fedor should be thinking of grappling with Matt, especially from his back because I think Matt's grappling awareness will surprise Fedor more than Fedor's grappling will surprise Matt. Hope Im wrong but the way I see it is if Fedor struggled with Rogers in 2009, hes going to struggle with Matt in 2017.

This is a dangerous fight for Fedor at this stage. If he gets too brawl happy its not hard to imagine Meathead catching him with a big shot.

But man, as unlikely as it is how great would it be to see Fedor dominate and have one last run?
 
Hoping he fights like he trains for this one. Don't want another Maldonado style fight

Do some research into it. That thing is not effective. There are breathing restriction devices out there that work but that isn't one of them because it inhibits both inhalation and exhalation.

At his age and beinng natural that's unfortunately the reality of training for a fight without getting an injury
