My mom had one in high school that she raised , like you said it eventually became too much to handle so she gave it to a sanctuary.

The thing was an asshole but whenever she came it would run right up to her like she was mama, kind of like my kids.

Are they bred for show or meat? Seems impractical breeding for such huge horns.

They're originally from Africa and are sacred. They're considered the kings cattle, their lineage can be tracked back to ancient Egypt. Ancient carvings and pictures can be found all over Africa.

My folks' neighbor keeps 4 piranhas in a huge aquarium. Idk how many gallons/liters. Yet it is still too small for them. I felt bad for the fuckers. It was like them being in a jail cell.
