Yeah I've done it a few different times at zoos. The best way to do it IMO is to get the tank, have it fully set up with plants doing well make sure your temps/humidity/lighting are on point before you even get the frogs. It depends on what species you are looking for as some are better beginners than others. Also when buying frogs try to start with larger animals as hey are very touchy when young. Make sure you have your fruit fly colony going and have a source for pinhead crickets or springtails. I like at least two different food items for them. Do a bunch of research first these guys have a lot of info. http://www.blackjungle.comI'm thinking of setting up a poison dart frog vivarium. Anyone have any experience with this? I've kept fish my whole life (both fresh and salt tanks) but I'm looking for something a little easier for my wife to maintain while I'm traveling, which is very often. I heard once you get a hang of them they're pretty simple.
