When you are taking something to eat, preparing yourself some food, can you eat relaxed and in peace if you are not offering the same to your wife too ?
Does she expects something like that or you just proceed to enjoy the meal without thinking what to server to wife?

I understand what you are saying, since reading posts from @NoGoodNamesLeft have made me a better reader

Yeah sometimes when when we eat at different times she would ask to take a few bites out of my plate, so by now I'm used to the wife food tax.

On the other hand when we go out to eat and we order different things, she gets annoyed when I asked to take a bite of hers.

I never cook your lady always makes me a sandwich

She’ll go to a restaurant with her friends and every time, she’ll bring me takeout of something she thought I’d like without me ever asking.

She’s really generous with little stuff like that and thoughtful so I try to pay it back. I’m not a great cook but I always offer

If I’m making food, ordering food, picking something up on the way home, I’ll always check with my wife if she wants something. It takes no time or effort and she appreciates it.

Bro, do you not feed your family?

If I'm cooking, I'm cooking for everyone in the house.
