Randy Couture. There was always a chance he could pull off the win, but he was often the underdog, fighting younger, bigger, dangerous opponents. You never knew what would happen.

His fight with Hansen is probably my favorite fight of all time.

I got chills when watching certain fighters step into an arena to fight. Remembering back to fighters like Saku, Rizzo, Igor, Cro Cop and Fedor would walk in, I could hardly control myself. Not many fighters in the modern era have given me that type of feeling other than GSP, Hunt, Khabib.

As far as excitement from the name for me it was always GSP. From purely an entertainment standpoint in the octagon Conor and Gaethje.

Fedor. The fight and the stakes of him losing/winning made me nervous everytime he fought. I remember when he lost to werdum and the forum crashed lol

I loved watching Fedor. He was always one punch or takedown away from ending the fight. Prime Aldo was the same way, his second fight with Mendes was so intense.

But for pure excitement, Chris Leben always showed up for a good brawl. Joe Lauzon is/was fun to watch. Justin G is on another level of dishing damage (and receiving).

Fedor and Crocop during their primes were probably the two that excitement was pretty much garenteed, in Pride they had maybe one not so exicting match each? Semmy and Kanehara.

All-time ? Honestly might have been Tank Abbott. At least during his first run. You never knew what was going to happen and some of the times he coudl get pulled into a boring fight, but it always at least felt real and primal.
