You think Mir can Beat Overeem?

This is too exaggerated. Reem defenetly is not the same guy without horsemeat, but Mir is certainly not the man to put pressure on reem and make him folds. However, reem is the last real k-1 champ. In any circumstances, You NEVER can't win a world grand prix of k-1 if MIR beat you standing. Bigfoot and browne striking are very underrated here and he still manage to kick these ass until he gassed and folds under pressure. But mir is nothing like that.

People forget that bigfoot was the only man who managed to outstrike Fedor?

I agree with some of what you said..

Browne is very durable and an unorthodox striker... Big foot is very powerful and alot more durable than Mr Mur

How did Mir Look against Cormier??? I never saw the fight and only saw this gif lol

12+Daniel+Cormier+vs.+Frank+Mir+1.gif

Pretty boring, Cormier was nervous as hell and pressed Mir up against the cage for three full rounds.

Mir was dominated by DC. Him even lasting the full three rounds is a testament to his durability

They are both perfectly capable of screwing this up

Got a feeling dc will be equally as tentative and holding back due to rashads speed. Still every chance rashad fighting such an unknown and undefeated guy could give his the rashad nog fever.

Either way Mir and Overeem is a toss up, both fold and die easily and it is a case of who hits first almost here... overeem stands greatest chance in round 1 if he is his usual bull rushing in but after last time he may play it safe and use some cardio and timing and actual fight iq like he did against brock.

Yes and if you look at his last fight against mark, he proved to have a good chin. Also we can say that he almost outstriked mark hunt if there wasn't the last round.

Overeem hasn't exactly been a World Beater lately if you catch my drift...

On paper, Overeem's style should be a bad matchup for Mir, but the "On paper" theory hasn't exactly been working when it comes to the Reem.

I didn't think Bigfoot or Travis Brown could beat Overeem, but he keeps managing to prove me wrong. I got Mir by TKO late in round 1 or 2.

Anyone who has decent (not even good) power in his hands can beat Overeem. Mir , even though not the best striker , do have some power and if he lands like he did on Nog or Kongo then Reem is going to fold like a house of cards.

That said i favor Overeem but i won,t be surprised if Mir does beat him

Overeem will smash Mir in the first round.

Even if Mir somehow survives the first round. Overeem doesn't have to worry about punching himself out as Mir always gasses when he's beat up.

mir will drop him with a straight left than choke him out. mir doesnt lose bottom tier fighters like reem.

Well Reem hung with Browne almost beating him until we all know what happened. Barnett demolished Mir with reckless abandon. And Browne made Barnett look like a fat lasagna noodle. So by default, Reem should crush Mir.

Cormier knew that stopping Mir would trigger the Murr Curse. He still wanted to stay undefeated but was nervous that winning by decision might not avoid the curse since all Mir's losses were by T/KO. But his original assumptions ended up being correct.

Overeem is screwed because he is pretty much unable to decision Mir.
