You grab the wrong bag at the airport

I hand it to Colby Covington, who I know will report to the authorites.

How would TSA be ever be able to prove that YOU didn't have a bag full of cash?

By the way, now that I think about it, the whole honor system of collecting luggage is ridiculous. Anyone can grab anyone's bag. TSA can give you a real hard time about what you can and cannot bring on the plane but after the flight lands they clearly don't give a fuck.
It's not an honor system lol. Have you flown before? They put a tag on your bag with the flight info and stuff and give you a corresponding sticker when you check in. If you get the wrong bag, they'll for sure track you down.

probably turn it in to the authorities after taking 20 thousand or so out of it. or maybe taking none....

I'm off to the toilet to turn myself into a Greek bride, I'm sure with all that cash and some toilet paper I could put together a dress..... And then I could just walk out the airport..... Without anyone noticing...... Some people might even pin some more cash to me.......

No way you can get away with this. Just return it.

or else this may happen.

They will never find me. I will get plastic surgery and change my race. I will be hanging out at clubs all over the world while calling myself Dylan Wang.

I've flown plenty of times. It's an honor system.

You take a bag from the carousel, no one checks to see if you have the right bag, you walk out. After you leave the airport how are you going to be tracked down? Not impossible but very very difficult once you leave.

Returning it. I mean if it was a scumbag drug dealers I’d be more then willing to take it off their hands but it could be a decent persons life savings. Not worth the risk

They find the person who took it on cctv, trace what flight they came off and cross reference it with the passport photos they have on file for that flight. Would take probably take 3 hours from the time they started watching the CCTV including two 30min cigarette breaks

I would return it.

Someone will be looking for that. If it passed TSA, they knew someone on the inside, that can rewind tape.
And they will match it up your identical bag and know exactly who you are.

If they wish to track you down it will be super easy.

You have an identical looking bag sitting their unclaimed and it is marked with your traveler information.

You are assuming I didn't walk out of the airport with all the bags from the baggage claim.

@mixmastermo always finds a way...

Okay as the Sherdog resident "I work with these types," they will find you and they paid off people on the inside to get the money through Customs in the first place. If you did in fact take it and not return every penny, your whole family would get got. I have literally seen this happen for FAR less.

I am just following the line the OP put us on but i guess you could extend that out.

"You grab the wrong bag at the airport"

That suggests you thought it was your bag and took it instead.

Written the other way it would have been "You grab another bad that looks like yours at the airport" and if you extend it out you add '... and you realize it and grab your own too'.

Regardless if you assume someone in airport security is in on it, and helped move that bag thru security without it being checked they will easily find you. Airport video will capture you taking it.

Drop that bag immediately and get the hell away from it. As mentioned by other posters, that is being tracked somehow, and those that will probably be looking for it wont take kindly to me taking it.
I'm not trying to die over some money I didn't earn.

If it's that easy why doesn't it happen all the time? People who fly just have more integrity? It's an honor system in the sense you can grab any bag you want sure, but they have all your info bro. Not to mention tons of security and cameras everywhere.

You give them your personal info when you buy a flight, they put a tag linked to your boarding pass. The airline and airport knows who the bag belongs to where that person is going along with their contact info. If someone can't find the bag, they'll tell airline and the authorities, who have your passport/ID, phone, email, sometimes address. Unless you planned this from the beginning and used fake info and covered your tracks once you leave the airport. If you drive your own car or get a taxi, they'll easily track down the license plate. You should use public transportation and make multiple transits and use routes with no cameras.

You should just try it next time and see how far you get away with taking someone else's bag.

Definitely would not take it, like others said it's probably being watched and has a tracker in it. Yeah you might get away for a day or two, but then your family will find your head in the freezer.

Yeah..
I aint touching that shit.
I return it.

If you think you are getting away with it you are fooling your self.
