You grab the wrong bag at the airport

I don't open my suitcase in the middle of the airport so I'm def not taking a commercial airline back home .
I'd take a few gs out and turn it in to the FBI

You give them your personal info when you buy a flight, they put a tag linked to your boarding pass. The airline and airport knows who the bag belongs to where that person is going along with their contact info. If someone can't find the bag, they'll tell airline and the authorities, who have your passport/ID, phone, email, sometimes address. Unless you planned this from the beginning and used fake info and covered your tracks once you leave the airport. If you drive your own car or get a taxi, they'll easily track down the license plate. You should use public transportation and make multiple transits and use routes with no cameras.

You should just try it next time and see how far you get away with taking someone else's bag.

I think you're underestimating how lazy people can be. You really think TSA agents are alert and at their A game while on shift?

By the way, now that I think about it, the whole honor system of collecting luggage is ridiculous. Anyone can grab anyone's bag. TSA can give you a real hard time about what you can and cannot bring on the plane but after the flight lands they clearly don't give a fuck.

Likely drug money from looks. Maybe a few hundred thousand there. As tempting as it maybe best thing is to tske to cops and announce it so it's known you gave it to cops. A drug gsng is going to get the security video (or there's info in the bag they took of yours by mistake) find out who you are and kill you at maybe 50% a few hundred grand isn't worth that headache of being worried.

Unless your an average sherdogger in which case the money you found was likely just a tip for being near your greatness. Accept ot and use it on an average Saturday night at club

Don't think anyone opens their checkin luggage till they are home.

So now what do you do?

You are home with a stack of cash while these money launderers are already tracking you down.

It's fucked which ever way you choose.

I'm thinking go back to the airport, stand under as many cameras as possible and hope they came back so you can explain to the owners they can have their bag back without any further questions asked.

Or spend that money on bitcoin immediately. Good luck tracking that.

Throw the empty bag with the tracker into a donut shop. The criminals will then run directly into the cops.

No tracker . If it's drug money they just pay off a security to see who grabbed it on the video. Pay to find out who you are by facial rec. Or easier if they grabbed your bag by mistake and info is in bag. Drug gangsters dont even care about the money as much as they would want you dead for taking it. Wouldn't matter what you spent it on they still find you if they want to. If it was 20 years ago then yeah ya keep it an no worries. Different world
 
I live in the far west Texas desert where “No Country for Old Men” takes place. Since the day I read the book I have gone over countless scenarios where I find a bag full of cash.

And yes, I have found two bales of marijuana in the desert before, so finding a brief case of cash isn’t outside the realm of possibility.

1) I find the bag, I then search for a GPS device. If I find one I separate it and leave it where I found the bag, then move to step 2. If I don’t find one, I move to step 2 anyway.

2) I take the bag and conceal/bury very well within a 200 yard radius. I do this in case some is watching me from afar, they will already have my identity and I don’t want them hunting me down when they can just come later to dig up thier drug money. Move to step 3.

3) Wait a week. Then return to the dig site. If the money is still there, nobody is tracking it and it’s all yours. If it is gone, you got lucky because someone was watching you and if you had just taken the cash they have your license plate number and you would have been hunted.
 
The other guy has your bag so he would figure out who you are. I'm not sure what the best course of action would be in that scenario. You should probably go to the police (after pocketing a third of that cash with no one the wiser).

It isn’t as if I’d be like Josh Brolin in No Country. I’d check the suitcase for any tracking device. Not only that, I’d put the money in another bag and put the suitcase on a bus.
 
TS the kind of guy to get skinned by a fat sicario from Los Zetas cartel in a back alley in Tijuana, on tape, then have the footage sent to family and friends for his birthday. No thanks brah.

My wife did this for real after a business trip. We got home and the bag was just full of a dudes dirty clothes. I had to drive it back to the airport and switch up the next day. Was an 8 hour round trip and was never mentioned again. If I did that she would have gone fucking mental.

It didn't work out for that guy.


There was a time in my life where I would have taken the money and ran. But these days I would return the money.. and hope they gave me a nice reward for doing so

Brah not what I said. Go to a tsa agent bribe one or threaten for video footage . If the mo ey belonged to a cartel or affiliate you bet your ass they would. If it was. Small time street gsngs then no they wouldn't know how n your likely a few hundred k richer. Cartel money they kill you just out of principle they couldn't give a shit about that little money they would spend twice that just find and kill you.
