Television Yellowjackets - TV show

I stopped during season 2. I'm good...

Ya, I'm one of those people that sticks with a show too long. I don't do good at "sunk costs" . I figured I want to see how it ends. Stopping during season 2 was a good choice. Season 3....the more I think about it, was pretty awful. Just asinine stuff happens.

MINOR SPOILER for SEASON 3:

One example is there is a guide/tracker/outdoorsman at one point who stumbles on the camp. He carries a crossbow....ok, cool, you want to stay quiet when hunting I get it. But he had no sidearm or anything. I mean, if you are traveling through back country your whole life and in bear/wolf country you are carrying a 10mm or a .45 or 44 mag or something big as a pistol. Dude supposdely lives his whole life outdoors is probably 215 pounds and gets captured by a couple of malnourished teenage girls. I mean...come on.

A small thing yes but just one example of how dumb and unrealistic it got.

I am still watching. It is quite discombobulated, but not yet bad enough that I stopped. If the next year doesn't pull together quickly I am out.

Wife and I ate through S1 rapidly, but S2 hit a big slowdown. The present day storyline just got to be too much. I particularly hated the idea that a newly elected state senator has apparently just abandoned their job and nobody has, like, noticed or come looking. Say what you will about politicians but they are legitimately busy as shit and glued to phones, aids, etc. I just can't suspend disbelief for that and it's annoying.

Season 1 was great then season 2 we t downhill fast tried season 3 but just weird . I checked out.

Season 3 you really had to suspend belief for most things. Plus some of the visions and the whole coach Ben thing was disturbing.

Apparently there's a "lost" episode about the cabin owner (which is why S2 was only 9 episodes instead of 10).
Killing of Juliette Lewis at the end of S2 was a mistake.
And the start of S3 skipped straight to spring/summer even though S2 ended during the middle of winter with the cabin burning down.

Ya. Maybe a mistake but nobody cares about present day anymore. They brought in Hillary swank and didn’t matter. Present day is beyond stupid now. I FF through the entire timeline.
I can understand the time jump bc they did show them with their huts built and some livestock.

Nobody online or anywhere can explain to me why Kodi didn’t carry a pistol and couldn’t take out 3 kids. Maybe bc Joel McHale was too worried about looking buff and making wisecracks. ;)

I forgot about this from S1. Probably one of my all time funniest moments in TV history.

From this post I wasn't too interested, sounds like that Alive movie with Ethan Hawkes rugby team crashing in the wilderness but with girls but then I saw the cast and now I'm in for Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci.
