Yair Rodriguez Out for awhile

The most active fighters in the top 5 at FW are Volk and Max. So sad.

Considering he got popped back in Zabit then that's a considerable time lapse where something of that nature would've leaked imo

To say he bailed out of Zabit because of injury would be a despicable act Plus something should've leaked from Zabit camp because they would be in the know as well

That would be the only alternative to a failed test imo. Some felony or serious allegation that will get him locked up.
 
Dana has to contractually offer fighters 3x a year.

He'll probably just keep offering Yair the Zabit fight 3x a year.

Dana’s reaction, expression and body language tells us it is something along those lines or something of an inherently personal nature which cannot be released, at least.

If it was USADA then I would expect a different reaction from Dana, more of a roll of the eyes, “not this shit again” expression.

Then again Yair has a CBD company so maybe he popped for THC

The fact he was saying they haven't "announced it yet" makes me lean towards a failed test. Nothing else would really require an announcement unless he was in some serious legal trouble.

Did I misread his body language or did it seem there was more than meets the eye to you? Surely a failed drug test would just be par for the course given how many there have been.. this seemed not to be that in a way

Definitely possible, but it just seemed like irritation or annoyance to me.
 
Man that sucks, say what you want about Yair's behaviour but his fights were always entertaining. I liked to watch.

Idk if its a USADA thing. The way Dana said it seemed it was more a personal matter. Yair is definitely a head case so wouldn’t surprise me if hes got some drama in his life?
