WWYD Joe Rogan Edition

Despite defining himself as a comedian, i do not think he would have ever made a decent living if that is all he had to fall back on. It is his fame in other areas that creates the illusion his comedy is popular, when it otherwise would not be, imo.

I find it interesting hearing him talk about showing up in Hollywood and getting every job he auditioned for in his first handful of auditions. Talk Radio, Fear Factor and more. He shows up, and he gets it.

i've enjoyed him in the UFC and also, at times his podcast. But not his comedy.

It seems like he thinks of himself as a comedian over anything else but really his work in acting, hosting, commentating and podcasting is better than anything he's ever done in comedy.

I wonder if he knows he's a D level comedian? He's gotta be about the richest comedian out there so I'm sure all the other comedians around him are yes men but you'd think he's gotta know that his comedy just isn't up to par with anyone else that is even semi mainstream.

Actually I'm kind of glad he's not that funny because it makes his podcast more interesting. There's plenty of funny people doing podcasts but his podcast is #1 for a reason and it's not because he's funny or entertaining. It's because he allows his guests to shine most of the time.....when he's not going on about psychedelics.

He probably believes he's a great comedian. The success of his podcast makes it seem like hes a lot better than he is.

The podcasts can be genuinely entertaining though, so at least that part isn't fake.

Would you rather go to a Joe Rogan comedy show or smash your head through your wall and spend 2 hours fixing it? I feel like this is a good 50/50 question.
Probably the Rogan show. Bad entertainment can be enjoyable.

But, it also depends on what kind of wall I'm breaking with my head.
