PWD WWE WrestlePalooza 2025: ESPN In Your House

It left a bad taste in my mouth too. I watched All Out right before and it was another good AEW ppv. The main event was great. Then I pay my $30 for Wrestlepalooza and it was such a contrast. Ads plastered everywhere, super commercialized, and then all the matches were pretty bad except for Vaquer/Iyo. I went from being content spending $50 for a wrestling ppv to really disappointed spending $30 for a "PLE". Im really not liking the TKO era. Which sucks ass because WWE have a lot of really talented wrestlers.

That was sort of the divide between the products. I mean we already have to pay for "cable" to view both weekly programming of AEW and WWE. Previously, "PPV" one was basically "free", and the other was $50 for a 5 hr product...which isn't always good, but when it is good it's great, and WWE was "that wasn't great"(but I had fun talking here atleast), and you could shrug it off.

Now it's like I'm faced with paying for a marathon PPV from AEW, and "close enough" the same price for the actual model that worked on Peacock of keeping things "efficient", and praying something "significant" happens.

I've ordered almost all the AEW ppvs and I've always enjoyed them so it's worth it for me. I get to DVR it, too. But they are only worth it because their particular style appeals to me. If it didnt then no way Im paying $50 a month. WWE is going to have to step it up if they want almost PPV prices because this show wasnt it.

Tonight sucked. As a major fan of WWE and wrestling in general, I've loved hanging out and talking shit with everyone here during the "Premium Live Events" for many years. However, I really have no use for the ESPN app outside of that, and (incoming "you sound poor"), but Peacock also had On Patrol Live, and some random movies/shows from time to time I'll watch.

I can't justify the $30 because for me it would be a return to the ppv model we had broken free from. Cash is king though, so I understand why they did it, but at the moment atleast it's not for me.

Because this is Sherdog I am contractually obligated to say "you sound poor" but what you are saying is totally valid. WWE content is spread across 3 premium streaming services now and that is a big ask for us humble and thrifty fans.

HHH just said Vaquer had this weird flu the past few weeks which is why the build was so weird. I had some weird flu thing the past 3 weeks!

You obviously caught that from her when she used her dark succubus magics in your dreams. Make sure you up your levels of zinc and vitamin D if you continue to invite Stephanie into you dreams.
