WW is in good shape right now, I just wonder when LW will be in that kind of shape. You've got all these older BMF-type guys who only fight each other, and then you've got Islam/Oliveira/Tsarukyan being the only champ-viable guys but Oliveira and Tsarukyan both having pulled out with injuries

At WW it's totally believable that anyone out of Shavkat, Islam, JDM, Belal, Brady, Buckley, Garry, or Morales could win future title fights

No one will hold the belt long unless they're a dominant wrestler and can hang with the best strikers when standing. Since there's nothing like a young GSP on the roster, the belt will move around a lot.

Partly the result of the matchmaking, where JDM, Shavkat, Garry, Brady, Buckley and Morales all made their path beating up old men instead of having to get in each others way while they were still rising.
And now that they have all made a name for themselves by taking turn beating up Neil Magny, the fights they will have with each other will feel meaningful.

Magny took the place of Maia, Lawler and RDA from 7 or 8 years ago.
