It depends. I think Lead coming in like a bomb diffusing robot took some of the edge off. But typically just a few days at most, I reckon. Been a while though.
He very obviously doesn't hold up well under any kind of pressure.

We tried doing that whole soda stream thing but none of the stuff is tasty enough. We drink light tonic and lime or flavoured water mostly now. The spa brand of with the coconut flavour is our favourite, but peach and grapefruit are also tasty.
