Wrestlers who finish

Cain comes to mind right away

Matt Hughes is the first that comes to mind.

Matt Hughes - the greatest WW to ever step inside the cage in UFC history.

Maybe not in the UFC, but Shields has been good with subs.

Hughes for sure

In order for a wrestler to finish he's got to learn other stuff.

That's why guys with collegiate rassling creds shouldn't be allowed to do MMA.

One of the dumbest comments I've ever read....... So that means that means almost 1/2 of the Top Fighters in the UFC shouldn't be competing???

None of these names should have ever graced us with their presence in the octogon:

Couture
Hendo
Bendo
Rampage
Jones
Matyushenko
Hamill
Bader
Lesnar
Cain
Coleman
Randleman
Edgar
Maynard
Mendes
Sherk
Tito
Melendez
Shields (admittedly boring)

Or Bellator:

Chandler
Alverez

and that's just to name a few

There are tons of very exciting wrestlers. Cain, Cormier, Jones and Hendo come immediately to mind. Wrestling is a great tool to either A) keep the fight standing or B) secure a takedown and gain dominant position. The problem is when guys go for option B but then can't do anything with it. IMO, there should be a set time limit, lets say 15seconds, where if the guy on top has landed no significant strikes and attempted no subs the fight should be stood back up. And takedowns should be scored about the same as landing a 3 strike combo, IMO

Dan Henderson, he even uses the wrestling to finish (see also: that switch he hit on Fedor).

18 posts before Jones gets a mention,

This is like his area of excellence.
