Haven't been inside the Tokyo Dome, but walked all around it and the Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens.

So practically at Wrestle Kingdom.

I don´t watch NJPW but the very far and between I´ve seen Okada was main eventing and going over. If this was WWE I am sure people would be shitting all over it.

Had to turn the volume down because of Chris' unbalanced screeching and dozed off.

Okada won? Ugh, won't be staying up all night for night 2.

Okada was last Champion 2 years ago when he lost it at this event and has basically been losing non stop and putting people over since.

It's not a bad time for him to get back to the top. He's their biggest draw and they really need it right now.
 
This silence thing is so eerie, you can hear the echoe when delivering a promo like if theyt were alone in the building but they´re in a 40K seats arena.
 
I'm just glad Okada is wearing the new belt. I really thought he was gonna shit on it and keep wearing the v4 lol

A long Okada run might actually finally get this new belt and lineage solidified and will be huge for whoever beats him for it.

Yeah it's weird Japan mandated crowds can't be vocal because they don't want people spitting COVID all in the air. No idea why they think putting this many people in a room and somehow them not cheering is gonna make things better lol

It's weird as fuck not hearing Japanese women screaming wrestler's names and the Japanese crowds not going nuts for the ending sequences in matches.

NJPW decided to combine the intercontinental title and the world title.

The cool looking one was the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, they combined it with the IWGP Intercontinental Championship and retired both Championship lineages.

With both combined they started a new lineage as the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship that's represented by the new belt.

Okada was pissed they killed the lineage of the Heavyweight title he carried so many times and he also never gave a fuck about the IC title so he would shit talk the new belt. When Okada won the G1 instead of carrying the briefcase with the contract that you get for winning the G1, Okada brought back the old belt, which pissed off a lot of fans.

Okada choosing to wear the new one is great, because it will actually legitimize it more because it's still a young championship.
