The pubs have reopened for the first Friday this year, so,

Tonight, I gonna have myself a real good time .....

Or I might stay in and play playstation

My usual watering hole managed to stay open the whole time somehow, but I haven't been since the pandemic kicked off.

Thanks. Sometimes my moral standards are very unclear even to myself. Do I want Jake Paul to die? I really don't know. If I had a button to kill him, I wouldn't push it. But it would also be really hard. Does that make sense?

What? Language and culture shouldn’t be a part of learning? Lots of Christian schools (Kamehameha Schools is actually a Christian school), civics and history classes and such; all schools have language classes. I fail to see what’s puzzling here.

The genocide was not finished. We’re still here.
As an English major (I almost picked History) I can honestly say I know next to nothing about Hawaiian history. I didn’t even know they had a king until about 2 years ago so I think it’s great there’s a school that is going to emphasis it’s culture and keep it alive. I also kinda want look into and read it myself, since I’m still waiting on GRR Martin to write the next 2 GOT books and I e run out of books to read.

Whatever happened to her? We used to text back and forth years ago.

Had some personal issues with her girlfriend and kind of disappeared after that. She popped up randomly on occasion but haven’t heard from her in a while. She was moving last I spoke with her. Hope she's cool

Yeah that sounds about right around the last time I talked to her. Hope she's doing well.

There’s definitely no reason to have more than 1.7 grams of protein per pound of body weight. That high is only necessary if you’re on anabolic steroids, and even that is controversial.

There is normally no advantage to consuming more than 0.82g/lb of protein per day to preserve or build muscle for natural trainees. That already includes a mark-up, since most research finds no more benefits after 0.64g/lb.

I used to eat way too much protein so just passing it along. It is good for satiety but you don’t want to be burning protein for fuel if you’re cutting out all carbs and fats too low and relying just on protein.

^ this has a link to a bunch of studies done with novice and advanced bodybuilders and athletes
Good info. I don't have any source for this now, but when I was young I recall reading or being told that consuming too much protein in excess if what you need over a long period can be a serious health hazard. I didn't read your link but what do you think of that claim?

She was a pretty resilient woman so I'm sure she landed on her feet. Definitely would be cool to hear from her again. I also think the decline of the Plats hampered her posting. Lot's of people were dicks to her outside of there.

Some cunt said the gun "slipped" from Adam's hand as opposed to him tossing it.

I'll say it again:

He stopped running. He dropped the gun. He put his hands up.

He was still murdered, and bootlicking conservative cunts are still calling it a "good shoot".

You can't win. If you're not a white dude with a red hat on, they get off on cops killing people. They cheer it on. "But he might have used the gun!" okay but cops aren't supposed to shoot guilty people either.

This pig worship shit is going to get me banned one of these days.

So I'm starting my second cup of coffee this morning and reading the paper and I read a front-page article that starts "A popular Union County teacher described by family and friends as a devoted dad, teacher and coach was fatally wounded in a shootout when he and his brother-in-law tried to rob members of a Mexican drug cartel."

I'd file that under "biting off more than you can chew" or "should have stuck to your day job".

Happy Friday.
