It was man. I'm not that kinda player. All the dudes on the opposite team had league tags. It was fn terrible. Like gym class when the coach wants to be a dick and makes the teams burnouts vs the jocks and the game is dodgeball
I always played HC in MW. Less of that shit as even a single pistol shot to the body could put you down.

OK thanks. Guess I should rummage for upgrades and stuff then.

Yeah, so I should have asked what the last thing you did as Ellie first. The game has all kinds of flashbacks and shit. Hope I didn't spoil anything but yes get materials and upgrades as you do play as her.

Wanted to thank you and @Sickness1 for the kind words earlier

Hah, yeah. I was kinda riding your dick in that thread a little bit, but at least nobody can accuse me of white knighting essie.

Workers work.

I got stung by a worker bee today for the first time since childhood and I was equal parts amused and impressed by how painful it actually was. I don't remember the burning sensation of the venom being that intense, but I left the stinger in my arm for at least three minutes until it had emptied all of its toxins. I figured that it had suffered a severe abdominal rupture and made the ultimate sacrifice just for the opportunity to penetrate my flesh, so it was the least I could do.

Summer is upon us soon. The glistening shall champion the architect of man's exquisite flesh as he migrates throughout existence. Never forget to moisturize.

Whenever I see a little insect flying around my place I look at my spiders like, “what do I keep you around for?”

But they’re doing the best job they can.

Y’know I’ve never been stung by a bee or wasp or anything in my entire life? They just leave me alone idk why.

I hardly ever get bit by mosquitoes or anything else either.

What makes this game sad? Metroid is a sad game too btw
It's huge. You can literally never explore it all. In fact, like 90% will never be explored.

Basically, it's you all alone in a spaceship flying around to new planets, building a base and continuing your exploration.

But because it is generated, it feels a bit empty.

I keep spiders too. got a family of jumping spiders!

I keep reading this statistic. For the month of December 2020, 100% of the jobs lost were held by women while men saw an increase of 16,000 jobs — signifying the steepest drop in the women’s labor force since 1988.

How is that possible? How could all the jobs lost belong to women? How is that figure being calculated?

Oh I just realized who I was responding to. but to explain, it’s about net gains. Individual men lost jobs but more men gained jobs so those were created. It speaks to the abhorrent gender gap in work equality.

I think you are right, they can still get priced out. But it’s not the new construction that is pricing them out, it’s the market forces that are making the place more desirable. It’s the new tech firm moving in, the expansion of the downtown population, etc. Barring the new construction would not solve any of that. So make more homes or bar the new tech firm from coming in.
This is where I may come of as an irrational conservative but in some cases maybe barring the new tech firm isn't a bad idea from the perspective of the existing residents if failing to do so will radically change the character of the neighborhood and price out most of the existing residents.
