I hate it when my buds fight :(

Why is the fuck is there always some sassy cat fight(s) going on in here though? Listen, when the openly gay male and two women bring the least drama of anyone to this place - and only a total POS wouldn't like them lmao - you have a problem and it needs to be addressed. Desperately.

Really good video from the NYT analyzing Breonna Taylor's death

LJ was a beast. He was not quite the athlete Zion is but there games coming in are quite similar (with LJ having a better jumper). Unfortunately, with that body type your knees and back don't hold up. They definitely were underrated. Mourning was a really great center plus they had Mugsy and Gill (Chicago guy) not to mention shooting in Dell Curry.

On the Nets no. They weren't good enough.

@Rebelfett
Am completely off base by saying Zion is overrated? He's a great athlete and two point shooter. Maybe an average rebounder. Maybe his all around game will improve but he needs a lot of work. I mean Simmons can't shoot 3s but is a stellar playmaker and great on defense.

I think there are a lot of people here with some mental-health issues, for real.

Hypocrisy, and exposing it, regardless of your political leanings is hilarious...and should always be pointed out and ridiculed.

That being said, @IngaVovchanchyn is probably the most brilliant poster on this forum
So, were you laughing your ass off when I showed multiple examples of your hypocrisy--you know--like telling lies about me and calling me a liar, tagging me in multiple threads then bitching I tried to start shit with you simply by replying in a public thread, calling me unhinged while you ranted like a lunatic over several posts calling me all sorts of dumb things?

Anyone? Did anyone here find that hilarious?

I thought he was initially but he's having a hell of a year. They're actually playing him at pg some and he's excelled. He's a good rebounder imo for a guy his size. He's barely 6'6". Good passer and ok handles which are improving. I've been impressed with his progress this year. Simmons may be DPOY and while he's a great playmaker his lack of shooting really hurts the offense. He's going to be in LA once his contract expires

That thread a while ago about right wing movies made me really think about how misunderstood the politics of certain pieces of art are. The answers in that thread were baffling and like I would think the answers for left wing movies would be equally off the mark.

which films do you believe were not accurately described as "conservative."?

@Khabib Khanate you starting Ramadan? My friend is basically a secular muslim. She claims she does not drink water during the day. Is that common? How do you pull that off if you live in a desert country rather than in San Diego working in a office

Yeah that was what I was getting at.

Of course, even fairly lax Muslims who miss prayer all the time fast during Ramadan so not surprised at your more secular friend deciding to fast.

Oh yeah that's the whole point, no food or water between sunrise and sunset. As for how they pull that off in the desert, can't be easy but clearly its been done for over a millennia.

I thought water was okay during Ramadan, as you are technically still "fasting."
just Googled it
*edit. never mind. water is not allowed between sunrise and sunset.

agree with this.
i always read their posts with interest. most have very mature takes. probably one of the very few people in the WR i make a point of reading their posts whenever i see one.

Same...and yes, low key jealous every time.
I'm like, "fuck! she's saying what I"m thinking...but far more articulately and brilliantly."

I should never have told my mom I got the J&J vaccine now that they have temporarily stopped administering it after 6 of the 6.8 million people that got dosed with it came down with blood clots.
