I have a general rule that I don't use any newspeak, or any vulgar speech. If you don't use their terms, but are completely polite and normal about it, the cognitive dissonance starts dragging on them.

Language is many things, but one of them is heuristic- it is a mental shortcut. It never refers exactly to the same instantiated thing (I can say "dog" about both a chihuahua and a pitbull) but as long as the categories are meaningful it is a tremendous tool. When language is employed to deliberately enhance liminality, or obscure categories, or make them incoherent, it becomes a tool of evil.

LJ was a beast. He was not quite the athlete Zion is but there games coming in are quite similar (with LJ having a better jumper). Unfortunately, with that body type your knees and back don't hold up. They definitely were underrated. Mourning was a really great center plus they had Mugsy and Gill (Chicago guy) not to mention shooting in Dell Curry.

On the Nets no. They weren't good enough.

I shouldn't have joked about him relying on his dad for his career, which he's admitted. And obviously I was somehow subtly alluding to his criminal background that I must have used my hacker magic to discover when I did. It was the wrong thing to do.

He's legitimately one of my favorite posters here. If he's legit, he's way more interesting and courageous than the other right wingers here. If he's a troll, then he's leagues better and more entertaining than any of the other trolls here, most of whom are just losers who think being openly insincere and badgering on the interwebs is anything edgy rather than boring and sad.

That's literally the only reason I didn't put him on ignore ages ago--trying to figure out if he's an all time great troll or if he's for real--well, that and to see if/when he gets banned.
