Smoked pork chops rubbed in smoked garlic, salt, pepper. Topped with onions, poblanos, and jalapenos. Salad is just lettuce, tomato, and red onion in a vinegar & oil dressing. I coulda cooked the pork 5 degrees less but still pretty good.

No marinade. I smoked a head of garlic with the tomatoes for the sauce on the tenderloin recipe from a few days ago. So I mushed up most of that with salt and pepper and rubbed it on. Surprisingly good and would have sufficed even with out the onions & pepper topping.

Shahan Derkarabetian PhD is a taxonomist at Harvard University’s Museum of Comparative Zoology. When the opportunity arose to name a new species of arachnid, he took one look at it and drew a connection to one of his favourite characters in Warhammer 40,000.

Gah, the anti-Biden stuff is deeeeesperate.

I like how it went from "Obama was unqualified and only got votes because he's black" to "there's no way Biden got more votes than that awesome world-beater Obama! Lots of fraud!"

It's almost like, as everyone knew, Obama's race was a net electoral negative that he overcame through being the most talented politician in modern American history.

Disagree about his race being a net negative, but it’s not really shocking Biden destroyed Obama’s numbers when there were so so many people absolutely sick of Trump and wanted to vote him out even if they’re not frequent voters

Obama merely matched Al Gore's performance with white voters despite being way, way more talented. I think it's pretty safe to presume that, if he were white, the gains in white votes would have offset the relative turnout increases for nonwhite voters.
