i'm assuming that's it. they have a couple tesla models and a cybertruck. but now they are ditching the model series, and deciding to build some robots instead.

yeah robots are cool and shit and maybe they could feature them in a movie or some shit to show off to their fellow car enthusiasts just what they've done with all their money, and show some workers just what jobs they will be losing, but how many miles are these robots gonna get me on a full charge?

nvidia has already went sideways in order to mine out the ai bro's wallets. tesla is saying fuck cars, we're now all about robots. what's next? is starbucks going to say to hell with our coffee, we're gonna start selling crocheting kits instead?
Looks like there’s a model Y that I assume is being kept
That one is 43k and the cheaper model so my guess is they are trying to keep the most affordable option with how expensive the car market is today. I still think 43k is ridiculous for a car but some people would go for that. The last one I got I think was 23k (new though) and I still feel guilty paying that much.

They not only look bigger.....

On another note, as a Shakespeare aficianado if not scholar of sorts, I find this intriguing.
It has been suggested lately that Shakespeare was actually a Black, Jewish female poet.
The proof? She would sit in the audience and yell at her own plays.

Is it not sufficient the loser of the fight died from his injuries?

Completely aside, Kabukicho is the one place in all of Japan you need to constantly keep your eyes open and your mouth shut unless it's to say, "Sumimasen." Especially if you're gaijin.

True story:

While on one visit to Japan, my brother-in-law was in a band and playing at this tiny hole-in-the-wall bar there so we went to see him. When we went in, my wife went off to talk to her brother, and I went to the bar to order a beer. The glass came half full. My wife did the beer ordering after that; the glass was full every time and the dirty looks stopped.

Long story short: Kabukicho is an incredible place, but if you go there, you'll want to have a Japanese companion to help keep you out of trouble.

I always get fascinated by these stories. YMMV, I've been there maybe a half dozen times and outside of one time getting shushed (was talking a bit loud as had had a few) had no issues. Even one time had staff there offer to pick me up from the airport if I ever go back to Japan lol.

this ones pretty good. drunk driver gets pulled over. runs from the cops, takes a good spill and hides in a portapotty. cops find him in there and taze him he gets arrested and starts resisting. ends up face down in the urinal.

dont know why but i almost lost it when the paramedics pulled up and the female cop said "i got two out with him, he's in the fiberglass shit house."

they even called in a fire engine lol

and lol @ the cops referring to getting tased as "riding the lightning". he rode the lightning twice!

Just when you thought metalgearsolid's week couldn't have gotten any worse.

Cool. Yes, I'm sure it varies; perhaps they see a lot of foreigners where you went. The place I was at was very insular looking, on an out of the way side street, second floor, and really small. I would bet a nickel no gaijin had ever stepped foot in the place before me.

The upper floor ones are fun, never know what you're gonna get.

It's going to be interesting that after 4 years of increased senility with Biden, and 8 years of complete malignant narcissism and corruption and sex pesting with Dump people will start nitpicking candidates over small shit again.
Small shit? The guy is a billionaire (inherited a fortune from ill-gotten gains) who cheated on his property taxes and shielded his wealth in offshore accounts. Democrats claim to be against rich assholes like that.

Where is the Don Lemon thread? I need a good read on a Friday lol.

Go on... I'm.ignorant about all the I'll gotten gains. As for offshore accounts, that's par for the course. Hell, even I've done that haha

Whitney Webb wrote about how the Pritzker's used to partner up with organized crime to build their fortune. I've also heard on a podcast they received seized assets from Japanese sent to internment camps during WWII. However, I couldn't find anything on that one while fact checking.

I feel the offshore accounts is a bit more egregious from him considering he pushed for higher wealth taxes. “everyone should pay their fair share.”

I assume you know about toiletgate, but if you haven't, here is an article - https://www.illinoisreview.com/illi...as-illinois-taxpayer-waste-scandal-grows.html

Tpiletgate is a drop in the bucket to what's going on today. Wealth stuff needs to be legislated. People will always do what they can legally and I'm ok with it in the vast majority of the cases. I don't see the point of individual stands on that, change the laws for everyone is the way to go if that is the platform. As I like to say coach poppvoch doesn't like the three pointer existing on basketball, but that doesn't mean he isn't principled since he coached teams that take them. Just that he'd prefer it removed from the game for everyone.
