It's always a very popular "out" for people on the right. They think it makes them sound more reasonable, or less accountable for the extremism their party plagues humanity with. I think it's in the hopes women might actually consider fucking them, but the ship sailed on that a while ago.

A compact and a mag or 2 is pretty standard Edc and doesn't suggest to me someone looking for trouble. If they can label this dude as a possible domestic terrorist over that I would hate to see how they would smear me. I carry 2 guns with me a lot lately and mags for both.

I take my gun/s with me everywhere and if I was into protesting I'd take it there too. I don't have an issue with people carrying guns at protests but there is the added risk of being in some kind of tussle with cops while armed which will be a high stress situation for everyone should it happen to be aware of .

He must have been a blue state officer, not aware of the amount of people that always carry, and the not insignificant amount of people that will do things like carry an extra magazine.
