I know they are doing a title eliminator match up with Ulberg and Jiri. And the winner of that fight is likely to fight for the belt.

But let's say the gave the option of Poatan fighting either Khamzat or Gane, who would you rather see Poatan fight?

Khamzat but I dont think they allow Khamzat to move up, cos of his inactivity.

Plus do they really want him to do Poatan like he did DDP?

Gane vs Poatan doesnt interest me that much. Not until the unfinished business with Aspinal is concluded

Gane fight would be a lot more fan friendly, Chimaev would probably maul Pereira and it could look just like the DDP fight.

I don't think he could beat either of them TBH.

He should fight the winner of Ulberg-Prochazka.

Khamzat.

Sick of Gane getting high profile fights for no reason. Convinced Gane is a psyop experiment. He has a ridiculously limited skilset and zero relevant wins (unless you count a robbery) yet brainwashed folks say "yes... 7th title shot for Gane... yes... White Card... of course" like it makes any fucking sense at all when it doesn't.

Khamzat vs Alex is a huge fight that has a gravity no other fight has (Khamzat being potentially #1 in three different divisions + Alex going beyond superstar status by beating a guy with absurd momentum behind him that is a stylistic threat). Gane vs Alex is to answer the amazing question of "what happens when Alex fights a non-top-5 HW at HW and there's no grappling involved!?!?" Spoiler alert... he fucking wins.

Gane, Alex wins nothing by beating that smaller crotch sniffer, he already won the MW belt.
See above. Alex wins quite a bit beating Khamzat. Arguably more than any other fighting a person from a lower division.

I mean... Fighting Gane would be for his 3rd division belt..
Gane doesn't have a belt... beating Gane today is the same as beating Colby a year ago... beating an impossibly overranked guy who was eternally ranked top 5 for no defensible reason. All that earns you is being ranked top 10 at HW (which is worth close to nothing for Alex)

Imagine if in other one vs one sports, like i.e. tennis, you would have to ask that question, say: I would love to see Federer play against Nadal. Just once. Would be cool.

God, MMA sucks. Not the concept of fighting, but in terms of being actually able to watch the best players/fighters out there actually ... competing.

Why does everyone want to watch Khamzat hump Alex so badly?

I am sure KC can eat one shot in order to get a hold of Alex and take him down. Its like KC fans are literally taking something away for themselves personally when he wins, it's absurd. He's won the MW title in a fight were he took no damage. And all he talks about is everything BUT defending his title. Defend, that's your job. Shit or get off the pot. Chimaev has his own business to take care of, he and his fans need to stop thirsting over Alex.

Alex has less than stellar TDD and Khamzat has ZERO plans to stand and bang. It will be DDP all over again. Sorry, but I don't think Khamzat vs Alex is the kind of grappling you really want to see. Alex vs KC is Randy Couture vs James Toney. How else do you think it's going to fucking end?

I'd rather watch two men throw hands and fight like men.

I pick Jon Jones, it's the only fight that makes sense for Jones and Poatan at this point. It's a genuine legacy fight for both of them. Khamzat would be dismissed as a smaller man if Alex beats him and we've already seen what happens when Gane takes a loss so that would be downplayed as well.
