I used to work a 4 day week it might have been the happiest I ever was. I could take vacations every week if I wanted to. It was excellent work life balance.

Actually doing it right now. Working nights currently, from 9pm-4ish. Supposed to be working 4 10s but in my trade we are notorious for working 6 for 8, so when we work 10s it’s more like 8 actual hours, if that. Start Monday night and last night goes into Friday morning. So I get all of Friday off, Saturday, Sunday and Monday till 9pm. I also get 15% over scale for it. To top it off and make it even sweeter is I’m working 1 mile from my house which never happens

My work once relocated to a place 262 steps from my front door. (I counted)

Was awesome, but I left after a year or so as the apartment was crappy.

I said no on the presumption it's 4x10. Add in travel time and I'd only see my kids 3 days a week.

When I was single, would have been awesome.

4x8 is an easy yes unless it affects pay.

I am very lucky to have a job where I work 4 10s. Prior to this I was active duty military so 10-hr days were considered a cut back, so from my perspective my work week was cut by 20% min. Now after almost 2 yrs working 4 10s I would not change to a job the did not have 3-day weekends every weekend...52 extra sleep in days a year does wonders for QoL and Health.

4 ten hour days, yes; 4 twelve hour days, no.

Japan recently changed its government workers to 4 day weeks and is encouraging companies to do the same. If those guys are saying back off the hours, then it’s probably a good idea.
