You're really not making Stipe's win look any better here mate.So now on top of trying to discredit Stipe’s victories due to fighters age, sherdog is going to go to the Stipe only won because the other fighter wasn’t allowed to take enough steroids excuse. The pathetic disrespect for Stipe continues here. The Reem lost like he always lost, his chin got cracked and he wilted under pressure. Just like he got ko’d by Shogun 15+ years ago.

This thread has nothing to do with Fedor, but I guess since it’s a Stipe thread it’s inevitable. The point is Stipe has already ko’d Overeem, but people are saying it’s only because it was post Horsemeat Overeem. Which tells you you in itself who the real better fighter is. It’s another excuse just like Stipe has only beaten fighters past their prime, when most of those fighters records prior to their fight says otherwise.Stipe simply doesn't have the level of wins that Fedor had.
Its not a matter of disrespect, its just the facts.
Stipe is a boss, but he's fighting in a weak division, where his best win is against a LHW.

This is the correct answerStrikeforce/Dream era Ubereem in that same scenario doesn't even need to latch onto that guillotine because the punch he hit Stipe with KO's him clean

Who did Ubereem beat though? Brock? I mean even in the Werdum fight he got outstruck by over double the strikes. Brett Rogers? Where is this prime Ubereem we are talking about?
Ubereem beats any heavyweight ever in kickboxing and mma.
He entered the UFC on essentially a 10 fight win streak (marred by one NC), while winning the SF HW championship as well as winning DREAM's HW championship and a K1GP on top of it.
He may have not been fighting the absolute best, but more often than not he was either fighting ranked opponents or veterans and absolute running right through them.
It was an era you had to have witnessed to understand. He legit looked unbeatable at times, and then USADA, wear and tear, and old age caught up to him. Still, its quite impressive Overeem is at least still able to compete within the UFC, albeit on a much lower level.
So his prime is beating Todd Duffee, James Thompson, Brett Rogers, Paul Benatello and Mark Hunt?
It's not just who he was beating, it's how he was doing it. Just manhandling them with ease.
So his prime is beating Todd Duffee, James Thompson, Brett Rogers, Paul Benatello and Mark Hunt?
Nope, he also couldnt beat a prime JDS, Cain, Werdum etc
