Would MMA look bad if artem got stopped?

Artem is what 14-14-1? He doesn't represent MMA.

He represents McGregor and John Kavanugh's gym.

Wood boxing look bad if Lord Artem head kicked him and subbed Paulie?
 
I know Artem/Conor fans are either inbred fools or prepubescent teens with no ability for logic and hype up their fighters like the latest videogame, but the hard reality is that Artem has little chance of winning.

I am no fan of Artem, but in this case, there is absolutely no shame in getting demolished by Paulie.
Paulie is an ex pro boxer with much much better hands than Artem, who was by no means good even in MMA. He would be a journeyman boxer in MMA lmao, let alone boxing.

Artem has heart, but that is all he has. He is like Conor lite (another overhyped fighter).

The problem with boxing, and anyone who stepped in a boxing gym would know, is that there are huge levels to this shit, boxing is not called the sweet science for nothing. I trained Muay Thai for 3 years, thought I was good, then stepped in a Western boxing gym and got taken apart by guys who were not even that good.

Boxers, by virtue of training a very niche and specific part of the martial arts skillset (hands only), just get outrageously good with that specific skillset. They will move their feet, use angles, move their heads, and above all punch like no kickboxer or mma fighter would. Their strikes are surgical, hurtful, and fast.

Unless Paulie has literally been doing crack cocaine for the past years, there is no chance he loses this.
 
Haters gonna hate. So if he wins or loses, it won't matter much to people just looking for reasons to hate on MMA, they'll find something else to bitch about.
 
No. Because it's Artem, a guy who's consistently called "GOAT" as a joke. He's not the prime representative of MMA.

Even an outsider who has no idea of MMA rankings would quickly pick up on the fact that Artem isn't considered that great, just by reading a handful of youtube comments.

even the guys giving Artem a chance is doing so in hopes that Paulie breaks his fucking hand thats to tell you how bad it is
 
Paulie needs to stop Artem, or at least totally piece him up for it to be a true victory for him. If it's a hard fought decision for either, big win for the Hammer. Either way, much more on the line for the rep of boxing than MMA, IMO.

People can bitch and moan all day about this fight for any number of reasons, but at the end of the day, it is a very compelling match up, and the single fight I'm most interested in watching tonight.

Artem is an active mma fighter while paulies been retired for a few.years ..


How would paulie losing look bad on boxing?
 
No, I think Artem would look bad if he got stopped by a boxer in boxing.

But that's just me.
