Intentional or not, it changed the outcome. Demian often just needs one take down, then it's allll ovvveeer!

Point deduction necessary, just like eye pokes, nutshots. No freebie + warning. It's not as if they are rookies and don't know the rules.

I think there were 20+ takedown attempts, & Woodley stopped all of them (except 2) fair & square. Pretty damn impressive, I must say. Considering what a terror Maia has been to everyone else the last few years.

I still hate the 2 fence grabs. Mostly I'm pissed at Herb Dean though. He warned Woodley on the 1st one he would take a point if he did it again... then he did it again a few rounds later... no point deduction.

Refs have to get their shit together regarding fence grabs. Marc Goddard is the only one I've seen who doesn't fuck around.

Eh, Woodley just using the tools at his disposal. As long as refs don't penalize fence grabs during the initial occurrence, fighters are going to benefit from cheating this way. Herb let him do it twice.

referee are there just to give warning if that. i hate how fighters have to complain to the ref also if they get eyepokes. ref should just stop and take points.
fence grab should be auto restart with takedown at center of cage.
