Crime Woman in Minneapolis Executed by ICE Officers; White House Reflexively Hand Waves Murder

what the hell are those assholes doing stopping their vehicles in the bicycle lane? that's the real crime here.

the lady didn't deserve that fate. she needed to be shipped off to el salvador. same with that other dickhead in the bike lane.
Are you one of those spandex wearing dickheads that think they own the road?

Nah, once shes trying to drive away when the agent is reaching into the car, drawing a weapon is acceptable. Its use is another argument. A car can be considered a weapon.
the agent doesn't have any authority to reach into her car.
Where she was hit or how close the shooter was has no bearing on its justification. The only thing that matters is whether pulling the trigger was justified.
pulling the trigger wasn't justified because it did nothing to make anyone safer. it just killed her.

Don't know if it was intentional. It doesn't matter once she hits the guy, though, as he is not a mind reader and it will just be taken as a sign of aggression with deadly intent.

Brother im asking what is your official stance on this entire incident. All of it matters.

I guess it comes down to what the policy of placing yourself in front of a vehicle... if a proper investigation were being done.

I was Chair Force for 20 years, and when we augmented gate guard duty, we were told to never place ourselves in the path of a vehicle without a secondary barrier being in place. And not to be in the path when the secondary barrier is removed. So don't be standing in front or behind when the arm goes up. And that was the Air Force.... the Air Force.

Please don't tell me my combat-inept ass got more training on vehicle procedures than ICE.

They're federal agents who have no jurisdiction on traffic violations, especially those unrelated to immigration investigations (unless one had been deputized).
When those traffic violations intentionally impede them, yeah, they absolutely do. It's no longer a simple traffic violation. It's obstruction of law enforcement. What, do you think they're just gonna sit there, foiled by people who park cars in front of them?

I've already given it a million times, but okay.

She intentionally blocked them with her vehicle. She then ignored their commands, and decided to floor it and hit one of the agents. The agent justifiably shot her. The end.

Honest question, no snark- do you think it matters at all that he placed himself in the path of the vehicle? We see him walk around and get in front of it
AND the video shows he gets CLOSER to the car before it moves forward. he's not getting out of harms way he's literally moving into it.

again, it's clear he didn't want her getting away. that was his motivation, not because he was saving his own life. that's fuckin nonsense.

Guy, you clearly don't know the first thing about roads. You can park on the side of most roads unless stated otherwise.

There is ample room for parking on both sides, and it's a fucking 3 lane setup in terms of physical space. I'm on your side here, but your logic with the cars and parking is fucking whack.

Its called the shoulder, and that part isnt made explicitly for parking. Most people are allowed to park there short term, yes. But you can be towed for being there too long as well. It isn't called a "parking lane" either.

Ive driven in the US as a job, on roads exactly like that, lmao.

Yeah I am seeing that now. I hope that the MAGA base isn’t so far brain rotted that they see this as excusable on any level. To be perfectly honest I’m a bit on the fence about the shoot from the video and I don’t have the full story, but there is no excuse for barring medical attention to the person they just shot. That’s murder.
I'm definitely not normally on the side of blue-haired agitators whatsoever......but this is way overboard and a pathetic display of abusive police conduct. Americans should expect better.

I'd encourage you to take an hour or so to read through the DHS and DOJ policy manuals on officer conduct, specifically as it relates to this same situation. Let me know if you've come to the same conclusions I have.

The shoot was absolutely terrible, because that officer encouraged the situation to end like that.

I literally live on planet earth and have owned dozens of vehicles. There is generally always allowed parking where you've got people circled in red. It's a residential street for fuck sakes.

Why you going full retard on something that holds no sway over the facts or outcome?

you yanks are so trigger happy. this is what would have happened if an ice agent tried to pursue that lady in canada:

That’s absolutely not a thing here. The only reason to not treat someone is if the scene is unsafe. It would not be unsafe in this case.

That’s a really dumb rule too since movie do you know they can’t survive until a medical professional is assessing them?

Well just for example, if they've been shot three times in the face and their skull and brains are spread all over the car seat, I think it's safe to regard them as deceased.

I already said the agent made mistakes and being in front of the car seems dumb. I dont think the agent is without blame and I've already said I dont think she should have been shot.

But the woman also made completey stupid decisions. Conflicting directions or not, she decided to drive away with an armed officer in the way and that was dumb.

This was a clusterfuck of escalation. But this woman wasn't simply driving down the street, minding her own business.
you said she was primarily to blame.

Can you not read? Do you understand English?

Tell me what this means

Most people are allowed to park there short term, yes.

And get back to me. Oh, also let me know how long a random car can park there, I'm curious.
