Huh? I said she was clearly a thread to others, and with a car, that could be deadly or create serious harm.
You don’t seem to disagree and are just putting words in my mouth.
As per what you posted, her being shot is warranted because she was a threat.
Slams on the gas to avoid arrest and flee, hitting someone. Seems she is a clear and present danger with her erratic driving, and a car is considered a deadly weapon.
Based on this, seems totally justified:
a. Fleeing Subjects: Deadly force shall not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing subject. However, deadly force is authorized to prevent the escape of a fleeing subject where the LEO has a reasonable belief that the subject poses a significant threat of death or serious physical harm to the LEO or others and such force is necessary to prevent escape.
