Crime Woman in Minneapolis Executed by ICE Officers; White House Reflexively Hand Waves Murder

All it says is it will come down to if the use of force was reasonable. You seem to not think so. I think it was reasonable.

There will be an investigation to determine if justified or not.

Or was there something else?
Good thing you're not a lawyer.

Read up on the DHS studies of vehicle shootings (literally identical situations to what occurred). Their findings indicate that most agents involved in these situations are INTENTIONALLY stepping in the line of vehicles so as to find justification for shooting.

You obviously didn't read the document at all....it explicitly indicates the use of a firearm as a LAST resort. The dumbass had his gun drawn when she was reversing AND he put himself into the line of the vehicle willingly. Poorly trained meathead got a little hot on the trigger in a situation that didn't call for guns whatsoever.

How does that not apply to Ashli Babbit?

It absolutely does apply to babbit. I can’t believe more people weren’t shot that day. All the videos of officers getting dragged down steps, hit with poles, pepper sprayed, crushed in a door, and the group of guys that were following and trying to walk down the black officer that brilliantly led them away from where congress was supposedly hiding. If I am that cop, my gun is absolutely out and loud, verbal warnings are given out to stay back.

There are only two realistic reasons that I can imagine as to why more weren’t shot that day. First, it was 2020 and law enforcement was very much on edge and afraid of being persecuted and ultimately charged for shooting them and 2. They were simply so very outnumbered that they were perhaps afraid that the crowd would surge and definitely kill them. You would think that self-preservation would factor into it and people would scatter, but when a crowd is in a frenzy and all frothed up like that, maybe they just suddenly charge and then instead of beating up the officers, they intend to kill.

However, with that said, I know damn well what you’re thinking and likely going to say: “the police didn’t resort to deadly force because the insurrectionists were mostly white….”

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) will not be part of the probe into an ICE agent's slaying of a female motorist, officials said Thursday, reversing the previous pledge of a joint state-federal effort.

Instead, the FBI will be solely responsible for the investigation into the killing of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother and U.S. citizen.

The BCA was told that it "would no longer have access to the case materials, scene evidence or investigative interviews necessary to complete a thorough and independent investigation,"according to a statement by BCA Superintendent Drew Evans.

"The BCA Force Investigations Unit was designed to ensure consistency, accountability and public confidence, none of which can be achieved without full cooperation and jurisdictional clarity," according to Evans.

"The BCA remains fully committed to our partnerships to build public trust in use of deadly force investigations. If the U.S. Attorney’s Office and the FBI were to reconsider this approach and express a willingness to resume a joint investigation, the BCA is prepared to reengage in support of our shared goal of public safety in Minnesota."

The irony of the left holding candlelit vigils the night before for the assault on federal officers on Jan 6 to pivoting on a dime the next day that actually you can try and drive an SUV into a federal officer is hilarious.

Maybe if you keep lying about an incident we all can watch with our own eyes, Epstein will appear and give you a prize as the nations top teenage edgelord.

You have shown everyone how stupid you are, and that you will defend anything, no matter how wrong it is. Its quite sad to be honest. ICE agents probably beat people like yourself up in high school if I had to guess.

Sorry bro, no one beat up Pain in hs. Pain was captain of the wrestling team and ran with a mean crowd of rednecks half the time.

You're the same kind of moron that gets pulled over for speeding and refuses to give your id while spending 20 minutes repeatedly asking the cop why he pulled you over after he's already told you 3 times. And then scream police brutality because he busted your windows and drug you out of the car.

Word today is the federal law enforcement is refusing to cooperate in the investigation, which really should tell us everything we need to know
Just like when they killed that woman in Chicago, claimed she hit their cars and they feared for their lives.

Body cam evidence showed the officer swerving his steering wheel into her before shooting. And he took the car to a body shop to get it repaired before it could be turned over as evidence because the damage clearly showed him as the one who instigated the vehicle collision.

Regardless of felony or misdemeanor, they had every right to detain her. She fled, which is another crime.

Shitty situation and not a good look for ICE, she conspired to willingly put herself in self in this situation, she fled the situation, hitting an agent. It is her fault.

If she simply complied with law enforcements, she would be alive. More importantly, if she didn’t willingly conspire to break the law, she would be alive
It would be an interesting one to see play out in court. Because the officers told her to leave, and then stop, contradicting orders hold a lot of weight, in benefit of the civilian, in these situations.

Dude, it's center mass. It has nothing to do with not trying to kill her. You get lucky or you don't.
To some extent I suppose, but that officer wasn’t impulsive, he took his time (as much as possible anyway) to pick his shot. It seemed as measured as possible to stop the threat and not intended to be lethal.

What happened earlier in the day would be no justification for what was actually happening at the time of the recording.

It absolutely would, and that's why context is so important. Remember a few years back when when that high school student got into a confrontation with an old Indian drummer, and everyone rushed to criticize the kid as mocking and racist and all the rest, even though he was doing nothing but standing there smiling? Then a longer video came out showing the Indian drummer aggressively approaching the kid, which was why they were face to face in the original video.

Or remember when Jacob Blake was shot by officers when he was "just trying to get home after breaking up a fight at a barbecue"? Then later it turns out he was the one who caused the fight, he had a knife, he had already been tased multiple times with no effect, he was reaching into his vehicle in the same spot where he had been found to keep ammunition in a previous arrest (he had a history of trouble with the law), and the officers were only pursuing him in the first place because he was wanted for third-degree felony sexual assault.

Here too, if the woman was in a parking lot and an ICE agent walked up to her and shot her, it would be quite a bit different than if she was harassing them all day, and they finally got sick of it and attempted an arrest because of continued disturbance and obstruction. There's always more to a story than a 20-second clip, and fixing your opinion before knowing all the facts (or ignoring them once they come out) shows a serious lack of critical thinking.

It comes down to if the agent followed DHS protocol. And it looks like he didn’t follow it AT ALL.

Never change your double standards guys
well the heat is off of the somalis for a bit <Wink2>

Nothing suspicious about this...

I’ve never had a speeding ticket in my life and I would do as needed to move along with my life. I do understand I could make it much harder if I wanted to because it would be my right to do so if I wanted. I simply don’t do that.

That's the rationale for self defense. I did also say he could have avoided doing that, didn't need to shoot her, but he had justification. Just because I understand why it's justified doesn't mean I agree with it.
you can't intentionally put yourself in danger, create a chaotic situation, and claim self defense when you clearly were NOT in imminent danger. he had no reason to draw his weapon when he did.

again, the agents did literally everything wrong and everything to escalate into a potentially dangerous situation.

The officers were not surrounded at the time of the shooting. Stop lying and justifying your lies with fan fiction.

There's way more footage that has been released than a 20 second clip. You can see footage of the entire street before and after the shooting.

The only people in the street anywhere near the incident were ICE agents, Renee and her wife.

*if she just followed the masked paramilitary orders in American cities for months she'd be fine, she should have gotten a permit from the government to protest the government*

You protest using your First Amendment from a TRADITIONAL PUBLIC FORUM. When driving a vehicle you must follow the traffic laws! She blocking traffic. Law enforcement had flashing lights indicating a a stop. She fled and hit a cop.

Make no mistake, he was a bitch and will be judged by God for shooting her. Getting nudged hard by a car shouldn't be a death sentence, but she proved to be a potentially lethal threat down the road. I still think it is a bad shoot.

But she is ..... I mean was, a totally unhinged criminal doing criminal acts.
