Generally people think the the government won't try to call others domestic terrorists and lie about how the agents were hurt. Generally people think that agents are taught to follow guidelines that include de-escalation and moving out of the way of vehicles for their own safety. Generally people expect agents not to create public safety risk. But apparently some just go, "well the agents have guns and should look for reasons to use them".

1) She did hit the Ice Agent with her car(from a video I saw from the back end of the street).
2) She likely did not deserve to be shot.
3) Hard to put yourself in the shoes of the Ice agent.
4) The reactions from both sides are just idiotic.

Whether people agree with what ICE is doing or not. They are Federal law enforcement who are doing what they are directed and people who are interfering are breaking the law. If the FBI was trying to arrest somebody or local law enforcement and somebody tried to stop them they would be arrested. The same rules apply.

If you don't put yourself in a position to be shot by police the chances that you get shot by police decreases exponentially.

Read up on the DHS studies of vehicle shootings (literally identical situations to what occurred). Their findings indicate that most agents involved in these situations are INTENTIONALLY stepping in the line of vehicles so as to find justification for shooting.

You obviously didn't read the document at all....it explicitly indicates the use of a firearm as a LAST resort. The dumbass had his gun drawn when she was reversing AND he put himself into the line of the vehicle willingly. Poorly trained meathead got a little hot on the trigger in a situation that didn't call for guns whatsoever.

Why wasn’t the driver of the other car parked on the road exactly like hers detained? How did the agents get off the road with that car there and the driver not arrested?

She absolutely put her car there to block ICE. She perpendicular in the middle of the road and it was also confirmed by a witness.

From the time the officer grabs the door handle to the first shot is 3 or 4 seconds.

Its <1.5 from the time the cars moves forward to the shot. I dont think its unreasonable that the officer thought he was being ran over.
