It's literally the worst unclear video of the incident. There is no way to tell if the officer was hit there. Your mind is playing tricks on you because you want him to be hit, not that it would even justify execution. There needs to be objective fear of SERIOUS injury to justify lethal force. A car grazing you at low speed does not qualify.
You must have been a big fan of Tiananmen Square.
OK, I support legal protests not riots just to be clear, but I'm pretty sure what those truckers did was illegal but the government took their trucks or gave them stiff fines that weren't deemed legal. So those truckers were more like the people rioting than the protesters that were behaving legally. If he was advocating for the truckers to suffer physical harm then that would be unacceptable.Yeah, ares lost his mind over that because it was in his own home city. He was one of the biggest supporters of the BLM riots.
I'm not sure how our opinions on that change anything. What about qualifications? Is the DHS hiring people qualified to be LEOs or SGs?
I have been consistently on record as against the Chinese Communist Party, and communism in general.
It's heavy handed and stupid. There was no need for that lady to die. Maybe she was stupid but people panic in those situations. Shooting her is the kind of action I'd expect police in a banana republic to take.
Yep, that's a murder
I'd say the guy was an absolute pussy, but I don't think so.
He's just a murderer.
He wasn't scared, didn't react out of fear, just wanted to kill someone.
Now his dreams have come true because he's a hero that the government immediately went to bat for.
Absolutely unreal.
Obstructing justice and hindering an investigation.Learn the law? What law allows ICE agents to walk up to American civilians and attempt to yank the keys out? Be specific.
They used their emergency powers act to freeze people's bank accounts. And not just people in the trucks blocking the bridges. People just doing regular protesting had their accounts locked. The courts later determined what they did wasn't acceptable.OK, I support legal protests not riots just to be clear, but I'm pretty sure what those truckers did was illegal but the government took their trucks or gave them stiff fines that weren't deemed legal. Again, she put herself in that situation. You don't get to blame "panic" when every step of the incident, right up to the actual shooting, was preventable - by you!
If someone's messing around on the edge of a cliff and falls off, there was no need for them to die either. But it happened because of their choices and their actions. And, right up until they're off the cliff and in the air (just like right up until the point that the gun was fired), they had countless chances to prevent their own death. And they choice not to take them.
I don't think the shooting was justified in any way. Things would have been far better if it didn't happen. But I do think the woman brought it on herself, and it's hardly an "execution" like TS claims - just two stupid people, one of whom had a gun.
From my perspective, this was both unjustified and bad practice. I've seen officers get away with similar and also thought it was wrong. We'll see how this goes. There is ongoing attempts to transition to "Move, Don't Shoot" policy. If you've watched many police encounter videos you'll find officers cleared for less than what this video captured. It's possible to understand why officers should be justified in lethal force in this situation but also believe it's piss poor practice. The recent Supreme Court decision in Barnes v. Felix should accelerate the shift toward better policy, though old habits die hard.

She assaulted someone with a deadly weapon before the video started? What law did she break, that made it legal for the officer to actively attempt to yank her keys out?
Also what LEO has ever told someone "get out the fuckin car!" ? You are likely to get shot by LEO if you do that btw.
Nah, it's attempted murder. The ICE agent is alive and recovering from his injuries.
Saying that getting shot is what killed her is an emotional conclusion? Lol I didn't realize common sense was emotionalI literally said I wasn't sure what led up to this interaction. Forgive me for not jumping to an emotional conclusion.
I mean you all lie so breathlessly, whats one more when a lady gets executedNah, it's attempted murder. The ICE agent is alive and recovering from his injuries.
