Who says they had the luxury of just reporting her plates? This women went out of her way to block the road on law enforcement officers and then hit an officer while trying to avoid arrest. I wish it ended differently for sure, but she put herself in harm's way. It's not reasonable to believe she would just drive away peacefully if the officers just never got out of their cars. She should have been arrested, which is what they were trying to do.

It looked like she just tried to reverse 180 and drive away. She also did not hit anyone. Stop lying.

There's a bit of confusion here.
He is not an officer in the normal sense of the term "Protect and Serve" etc.
He is an 'agent', hired by the federal government on short notice, clearly not
versed in the reality and nuances of typical LE enforcement activities.
Probably went through some hasty training, haven't researched that but no doubt.
Officers typically attempt to DEescalate situations, not exacerbate them.
Federal agents, apparently, are not grounded in that ethos.

You can also see the time the bullet is shot he is on the side of the vehicle pointing his gun into the windshield which also debunks he was in front of the car but it won’t matter to the cult it’s not what they want to see .
