Sure, you can shoot someone to avoid being run over, but just fleeing from a parking ticket doesn't authorize the use of deadly force. As far as I'm aware the only time you can shoot at someone fleeing is if they've committed some type of armed offense.

Both probably. Either way the actions she took dont indicate intent to hit them. On the surface it suggests that she just wanted to get around them.

In the slowed down video, she turned the wheel towards the officer and hit the gas enough to spin the tires. Even if she wasn't trying to hit the officer, she was willing to drive over him to get away.

Which does not justify lethal force. And video shows her letting cars throughout before agents engaged her. The context available us insufficient for me to say this was an acceptable shot.

She wasn't shot for just blocking the road though.

It looks like he moved to me but the videos are at odd angles.

Both angles are clear, just the original HD one obscures whether or not the officer was actually hit. I'm sure we'll get body cam/dashcam videos in the near future. Hopefully, that will clear it up for people who are unsure.

There is a HIGH LIKELY HOOD she never even see this officer, because the other officer was trying to strong arm her through her window. Are you blind? You think she was worried about anything other than the officer right on her trying to actively yank her keys out?

No he forced her door open while she was communicating with the other ice guy , any normal court room would find him guilty and find several laws he broke along with the rest of them .

He stuck his arm like 6 inches in to the car, pretty sure you cant yank someone's keys out by doing that unless you're stretch Armstrong. Looks more like he was possibly trying to grab her arm to stop her, or open the door. She broke the law by stopping and parking in the middle of the road sideways. She did something really stupid, and then did something even more stupid. Did she deserve to die for that mistake? No. But you can't speed an SUV towards an officer, everyone knows this. If it wasn't ICE, nobody would even be questioning or caring about this story. It happens every day.
