Not too long ago the male champs of UFC were way ahead of their divisions on average. GSP, Aldo, Silva, Jones, Cain, Barao. MMA was lacking.

Don’t remember her name but that was an incredibly impressive performance the whole fight. I just remember that she was a monster and she was a 115 pounder up at 35 for that one.

I disagree. Nunes Vs Holly will be a high stakes fight where 1 mistake either side leads to a KO. Shevchenko is must watch TV at 125 because every fight will be live murder.

The event of the Valentina KO we had 4 WMMA boring decisions too.

Guess its all just matter of opinion because I thought 2 of the other 4 were decent/competitive. And I'm fairly certain I've seen worse performances from men, the Stewart vs Davis fight on that card comes to mind.

So profound to end on the group. What happens when MMA thinks it has a technical answer for overpowering martial arts. Bad things.

OMGawd. Shev. kicks the can. Boxing loves head movement. Until it goes wrong. WRONG.

I always said WMMA needed time. The skillset in MMA was terrible between 1993-2003 and mediocre till 2009.
I still think WMMA needs much more time to evolve.

Only moving down to 125 which I like. Fighting Alexis Davis at UFC 240, a chance to make a big statement in a quiet division.
