WMMA haters love to act like there Is not a shit load of bad MMA matches lmao.

To be fair, even in the bad men’s MMA matches, even if they are bums, they don’t look as bad technically as women do. WMMA has yet to catch up and won’t for some time, but its not as bad as it was 3 years ago.

It’s actually gotten better, there’s more actual athletic women competing, there are women who go out looking to finish which is cool.

I’m still not a HUGE fan of WMMA, but I went from being one of its biggest haters to not minding it at all. It’s a fight regardless, awesome skill and technique can be displayed by both genders so it is what it is.

I just wish the UFC would stick all the fights of unproven WMMA fighters or women who have proven to be boring/not that good on the undercard/early prelims. Save the main card slots for fighters that actually perform, male or female.

Most of those were 135. Back when WMMA was just 135 people were genuinely interested, they'd been eased into it by Elite XC and Strikeforce. When you create a bunch of divisions out of the blue no one cares about and then use titles in said divisions to replace male fights, people will be mad.

In the beginning the UFC was very smart to pair 135 title fights with male fights people wanted to see, so people would watch and see it as a treat not a punishment. Then when they became invested in the division from watching those fights they were willing to pay for cards headlined by those women. That shit didn't happen with 115 and 125 and even if they did that, female divisions are about a third of the divisions now, you can't avoid cards with a few female fights, even a majority female fights. In the past you could do one every event or so and it worked great.

for every decent wmma fight we have to sit trough atleast 10 shitty ones while true talent is buried on the undercards because they put this shit on these supposedly elite mma cards.

I think many would agree maybe the top 10 p4p women are worth watching. But beyond that, there’s a heavy drop off in skill and that’s where many take issue. A good 90% of the women in UFC don’t belong there and put on low skill boring fights with little to no danger perceived. We want to see the best fight and when a ranked woman is leagues below the worst male on the roster, people wonder why it is there.

I disagree. Nunes Vs Holly will be a high stakes fight where 1 mistake either side leads to a KO. Shevchenko is must watch TV at 125 because every fight will be live murder.
