Im all for ufc giving Wbw new blood a layup fight first, let them get the gitters out before a big fight down the road. I remember a few years ago every wbw debuted vs a ranked opponent and were getting killed.

Really unfortunate for JJ getting Silva after her her first big loss was a winnable fight up the rankings and she doesn’t have many of those.

She won via sub in her last fight because Cowan is not good, but when she's on her back she's unable to get up or do something.

Dudakova out due to injury, Rose Conceicao in. It’s funny how things sometimes work out in mma. Rose won the LFA belt all the way back in July 2023. Sat out waiting for her DWCS fight in Sept 2024. Lost. Didn;’t return to LFA until February, where shot got KOd in her first and only title defense. Kuziutina picked up the LFA interim title in December 2023, and defended it twice in 2024. Eventually Kuzya left the interim title and LFA behind. Now they meet in August 2025, in an obscure Russian promotion.

It blows my mind Lany didn’t get the call to the UFC or DWCS at a minimum.

DWCS cut back on the women’s fights this year.

Good fight for bantamweight outside the UFC. What’s disappointing is that it’s on Tuff n Nuff. No disrespect to them, they’ve been great for amateur fighters for years now, but they’re not a big platform for pro fighters. It’s a shame Invicta is in the unstable position it appears to be in right now. When Invicta is going steady, the women’s divisions are much stronger.

Also, if Martins can successfully make 135, it will justnfurther show how unnecessary featherweight is.



Strange signing. Over a year since her last fight. Part of me thinks she was waiting for her Octagon contract to expire, but I don’t think Octagon would get in the way of going to the UFC

Strange signing

I believe I've discovered a compelling logical reason for the signing:

Now watch her get utterly crushed in one round by the first Butchzillian they match her against (well, or anybody else really).

Side note: Enormous duck lips seem to be at epidemic levels amongst Eastern Euro grils. Could probably become a millionaire quickly opening up a lip filler clinic there. I'd say it's a huge 'red flag' for an MMA fighter but one of them even managed to win a UFC fight recently (Klaudia Syguła)
