They’re draft eligible, but it doesn’t mean they’ll be signed.

For example, JAG is in Atomweight, but the on;y other Atomweight fighter signed is Claire Lopez, so what teams would waste roster spots on that?

I suspect many of the names are on there for whatever recognition they bring. Few will be drafted, if any
 
Well, the UFC finally made 125 into the best women's division. Unfortunately, they've fucked up the 115 and 135 divisions at the same time. I guess there really is an unwritten rule that you can't have more than one good women's division at a time. And now I go back into hibernation because frankly, I've lost much of my interest in the sport thanks to all the BS we've been forced to endure by various MMA organizations, especially the UFC. Fuck those assholes for killing my love of the sport.

i don't blame you, there's not a lot to be excited about. looking over last year's fights, there wasn't anything particularly memorable and unless something drastic happens this year will be much the same. i'm watching more muay thai these days too.

This is really because Carla Esparza retired right? I know, I feel the same. Not just MMA, but somehow the sun seems dimmer and the stars shine less brightly in the night sky... 🥺

Not really, I didn't even know she retired, or at least I don't remember it. Sometimes I don't remember things, I blame it on the concussions, it's totally not the recreational drug use.
Anyways, what were we talking about again? I seem to have forgotten...ok, I remember now, Diana Avsaragova. We should totally get behind her since she won a medal in wrestling in Russia.

You are where I been for over a year. My reasons may be a little different than yours but the result is the same. My love for the sport has gone. I pretty much only stop by this thread occasionally.

She faced Tecia Pennington for her retirement bout. Lost the bout (kinda controversial) and they even showed a videoclip of her highlights.
And yeah... Diana is the next... i forgot her name... the girl from PFL... Zamzagul Fayzallanova

Yes, I agree. However I think Diana needs to reinvent herself somewhat to relaunch her career as a human cockfighter (instead of her current occupation of being professionally good looking). She needs to distance herself from DANGEROUS CRIMINALS like Liana Jojua and establish herself as a refined Lady Human Cockfighter of Class. I think she should move to the UK and rebrand herself as 'Princess' Diana. We had one of those once and she was pretty popular; I'm sure Diana II could reach similar levels of popularity.

Almost all the older, washed fighters. Two freshest names are Melissa Amaya (genuinely good signing), and Knutson. Kuziutina, as well, but she’s not as young, physically
 
Can Budd even make 140? She's huge for Featherweight as it is.

Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to the GFL's season. Always willing to see Arlene Blencowe fight, and hopefully Holly Holm can perform well too. Perhaps the Ladd vs Holm fight that was scrapped in the UFC, can happen in the GFL.
 


Not a fan of signing exclusively to anywhere that isn’t a larger promotion like UFC or or a better paying regional promotion like Oktagon, Rizin, or the like, especially when the promotion doesn’t have your weight class, and Hernandez belongs at atomweight. However, if her goal is UFC, the LUX is gonna be her best bet



They have her fighting someone who’s 2-3 next, so LUX is definitely giving her the slow build, which she’ll need in order to succeed at strawweight
